I really appreciate this response. Not all products are perfect but a very good percentage of them are in its best forms. This is just some level manufacturing issues, and as we who are in sales/engineering know, there must be defective products. A good percentage of people don't know that there is an option in the device that have a power-save mode, where you reduce the range of the router in order to save battery. So you can try it out.
