TheSuperNerd:Nerd Walahi u like wahala. Abeg u just have to read some posts and move on How on earth would someone described Victor Moses a shit player and started rating rookies like Chuckwueze,Kalu who have not done anything for eagles. I remember it was here we are telling them that Moses Smon is a better player than Kalu Samuel. By Damn too funny to see some stats guys always bringing out to analyse players. Victor Moses started his career in EPL for God sake not backwater leagues were Kalu,Simeon Moses started, even talented Chuckwueze has not done anything to be compared to Victor Moses. No wonder some don't even rate Musa a four WC goals scorer, telling us that unproven Kalu,Oyekwuru,Chuckwueze,Simeon are better. When chips are down we know the real Super eagles players who aways rise to the occasion when we needed them most, they deserve little respect. The likes of Chuckwueze,Oyekwuru,Kalu,Simeon need to convince us more cos we have seen better wingers like SegunOdegbami,Adokiye Aimesemeka,Felix Owolabi Humphery Edebor, George Finidi,Tijani Babanginda Emmanuel Amuneke,Victor Ikpeba,Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa. 9 Likes |

andrewbaba44:I disagree with the last part, the reason why Nigerians don't like Yakubu is because he was never a big game player for us, can't remember us wining any game because of his influence, I remember people always say he doesn't put in the effort when he's wearing the gwg. Although I think the reason why Yakubu didn't have a stellar SE career is because we did not play to his strength most times and during his time we largely had mediocre coaches and players |

I hope so but the rest of his comments practically reduced Moses to just a fullback and further insinuating he isn't good as an attacking winger. That is actually a hit at Moses' footballing abilities. In a nutshell, the "Moses is shit" was totally unnecessary. Blueelf: 1 Like |

Kog45: The bolded isn't a valid argument.. Moses had the privilege of growing up in England, hence he was able to get into an English club academy and start his career there like most of his peers.. The likes or Kalu,Simon, Chukwueze and Onyekuru meanwhile started from the streets and the academy.. They have been able to work their way from the bottom and gradually going to the top.. Look at Simon for example, from Slovakia to Belgium to Spain and now France... Same with Kalu.. Chukwueze from Villarreal B to Villarreal main team and now attracting interest from big teams .. Onyekuru from Qatar to Belgium to Turkey and now France. These boys may not have done nothing special for super eagles yet,but please don't belittle them... They have what it takes to be better than Moses and all those past wingers you mentioned there.. Just like those past players you mentioned,Moses has played his part for the team.. he helped us win the AFCON, he helped us qualify for the world cup.. He has done well! Just like Mikel and Enyeama, they should be allowed to enjoy their retirement in peace while we give opportunity to the news boys in the team.. 3 Likes |

Elder Uncle Kog, I greet u. I just wanted to balance things really. Victor Moses remains the best winger we had in the last decade (2010 - 2019). Absolutely no debate about that. He deserves some huge respect abeg. Also, right now, what he has achieved has not been attained or surpassed yet by any of our current young wingers. I must admit though that the current wingers like Chukwueze, Simon, Kalu, Ejuke, Bonaventure, Onyekuru still have their best years in front of them and are all still upcoming. One or maybe two of them could end up matching or surpassing Victor Moses' legacy of achievements with the Super Eagles and at club level and a few of them like Chuks truly have world class potentials to be much more but they are still growing so UNTIL THEN, we must accept that FOR NOW, Victor Moses is their boss on the wings. This is my submission. Kog45: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yes, that is true unfortunately but only for the final periods he had with us before he retired. It doesn't and shouldn't erase the fact that he gave us his passion, his best and even better attitude in the early years of his sojourn with us. Do we need Victor Moses back in the Super Eagles? Personally I don't think so. We have enough quality young options giving Rohr lots of headaches already, a few of which truly boast world class potentials. But would I have a problem with his return to the team, if he does return? Absolutely not. I think that will only expand our depth pool and see us draw from the quality and experience of another player in a top 5 league doing it for a top Serie A club. Blueelf: 3 Likes |

andrewbaba44: Onyekuru played only 4 games and got 1 assists in the French league. It isn't his fault that he couldn't get a work permit to play in the EPL,is it? It isn't his fault that Monaco changed coaches too many times and he didn't get the chance to play,is it? |

Danielnino00:My man my point is very clear and TheSuperNerd really got me right. My man I rated Chuckwueze highly and I know with guidance he would likely be Nigeria all time winger,so nothing like belittling but saying the fact. I don't see any reason for any comparison between Victor Moses and the likes of Oyekwuru,Chuckwueze,Kalu even Simeon cos they belong to different Class. I wish those guys well but the hypes here is just too much. Haha Oyekwuru and Victor Moses on the same page,no my man. 1 Like |
