Pay per view should be Implemented and if they are not ready to abide by our rules they should leave. In south Africa they operate on pay per view, why can't they implement same process here? Abeg am tired of hearing same news every time without any action

Cable television is not a necessity therefore there is no basis for the government wanting to regulate the fees they charge.

It's a free market therefore anyone who wants to charge lower rates is at liberty to set up a similar operations and charge lower fees undecided

Nigeria should take caution is its action's, Dstv has been complaining about the hostile environment of Nigeria, coupled with the fall of the naira against the dollar, that's making it hard for them, this action might make things even harder.

Dstv doesn't run a monopoly, just that other competitor's don't have what it takes to compete. I have used a lot of cable and dstv is the best.

Has anyone found out that lately companies no longer do promos and draws again like they used to do before. Everywhere is just tight.

Let Nigeria not make things harder for them

Anti business Nigerian govt.

Dstv sub in Nigeria are the lowest in Africa.

So the only reason, they pur the law was because of startimes a govt company.

They want to collect things for free without paying.

Regardless, monopoly is a NO!
CTV is in the south South with a subscription of #3000 flat for complete channels. Premiership, Spanish league etc. That equals to #20,000 plus sub on DStv yet DStv is busy employing thugs to destroy their facilities at midnight.

Let government deregulate Cable network in the country.

DSTV show a lot of old programming, they need to do more.

Startimes needs to improve its website and payment channels.

Loads of restricted TV channels in Nigeria are watched free of charge outside Nigeria.

Nigeria's government rather encourages pay-per-view Television in Nigeria. So the the TV Channels exploit Nigerians.

The definitely can offer something better. Na just greed.

The $500m loan to rejig NTA would go a long way and Nigerian can even get revenue from it.

What they can't do in SA, they take us for granted and continue making so much money that they take back home.
Never knew Startines was owned by NTA, let's promote our own.
HITV came and we all switched, guess he could manage his success, and went off.
Not only them, mobile networks also, data is becoming so expensive
HiTV was frustrated out of business by DSTV using Nigerians and Nigerian banks.

Madam, will you shut up?

Nigeria doesn't have stable power

DSTV should start per-pay-view or pack out

If not Globacom that introduced per-second billing, MTN would have been killing Nigerians with their crazy call rates up till now

These South African companies are just in Nigeria to wreck the country because Nigeria is an anything-goes country.

Star times is not owned by NTA. It's a corrupt Chinese company those knows how to penetrate corrupt African governments with short-term mouthwatering offers.

Dstv has a choice.. Share the rights or abandoned them for the Nigerian space.

Our subscription is the lowest or cheapest in Africa and yet they went and paid over 100m dollars to air football in just Nigeria.

NTA has 30% share, while the Chinese has 70% share and run by the chinese. To be honest apart from premier League is DSTV better than StarTimes?

It is apparent you have never watched Startimes content before!

If there was to be pay per view alot of companies would fold up. Its not dstvs fault that Nigeria has electricity issues.
