Don't try to sell in a hurry or else it will be underpriced. The person that really needs and appreciate it will later come along and beg you to sell at a fair price. Not just Xiaomi, any product. That's the rule of product resale.

That's why you can't compare it to Samsung and Nokia. I have been reselling phones but Samsung and Nokia get more value in reselling used phones. But all the same, it is gradually gaining ground.

Out of the lots, Nokia have the poorest resale value. Over here, Infinix is highly valued than Nokia. I used to own a Nokia 5.1. I got it for 65k then. Guess how much they priced it after just 2 weeks of usage with all accessories intact?

I do not know what you guys are on about, if you want to sell your phone, name your price, ignore low ballers , sell at the amount you want except the price you placed on the phone is unrealistic.

I was seriously mad when I saw someone saying that xiaomi phones have no resale value, like WTF! My 2+ years redmi 6 pro was being rushed by almost five persons that wanted to buy it, despite the rough handling of the phone; I never used any protective cover through out my using the phone but people were still flabbergasted at the aesthetics and how I explained the specifications of the phone.

The redmi note 8(global ROM) from Jumia global has a better battery,better charger unlike the global version and above all uses MTN 4g here in Nigeria,was sceptical before I bought it for a friend because of everything I heard about it not being able to use MTN 4g
I prefer it to the global version........
