The point remains that Vicmo and others struggled to reach where dey are now. EOF

There is no point here..

You tried to make it look like Moses got to England at an early age just to play football... According to the story on his bio,it was for asylum purpose.. At least that was what granted him the right to stay there.. From there, he got into crystal palace academy..
Now u are saying that he lied about his parents being dead..

In your attempt to defend him,you just made him look bad..

Has he been convicted? When did you become a judge of the federal republic of Nigeria? grin

But his attitude leaves much to be desired.

I think we need to check him in his club side too... He put on the same attitude both for club n country. Can we fault that? He always mind his business.

My point is simple: let Moses enjoy his retirement in peace while we carry on with the new crop of players at our disposal...they have everything it takes to be better than Moses.. some of them already have better stats than Moses when he was at their age..

Rohr is building a young and talented team that would last us for long even after he leaves.. I'm afraid, the likes of Moses don't belong in that team...
Rohr go shock you o. Lol

How did I make him look bad? I am telling you the fact on ground. You can interpret the way you like, that's your personal opinion.

But the point remains that Vicmo Moses was born in Nigeria, played on the street and walked his way up from an academy to the top.

Can you tell me the difference between him and others?

The difference is that he had it easier..
Playing for a football academy in England gives you almost automatic right to play at the top level..

Simon and Kalu had to start from Slovakia .. Onyekuru from Qatar..
Chukwueze from the u-17 team.

You should have kept that story to yourself... grin

The bolded isn't a valid argument..
Moses had the privilege of growing up in England, hence he was able to get into an English club academy and start his career there like most of his peers.. The likes or Kalu,Simon, Chukwueze and Onyekuru meanwhile started from the streets and the academy..
They have been able to work their way from the bottom and gradually going to the top..
Look at Simon for example, from Slovakia to Belgium to Spain and now France... Same with Kalu.. Chukwueze from Villarreal B to Villarreal main team and now attracting interest from big teams .. Onyekuru from Qatar to Belgium to Turkey and now France.
These boys may not have done nothing special for super eagles yet,but please don't belittle them... They have what it takes to be better than Moses and all those past wingers you mentioned there..

Just like those past players you mentioned,Moses has played his part for the team.. he helped us win the AFCON, he helped us qualify for the world cup.. He has done well!
Just like Mikel and Enyeama, they should be allowed to enjoy their retirement in peace while we give opportunity to the news boys in the team..

Quick fact Vic Moses started his career from edo start bfr he get his asylum from England. The way other started from scratch he also started from Scratch.

The way other favourite players have stumbling block in their career moses has the same. Fast forward he's doing very well at the moment.

My own case is this I'm not asking anybody to beg him back but tagging him all sort of name doesn't make sense at all. Aside Simeon, chuks, who else is playing in top 3 league in Europe?

Funny thing is this if he decided to return to eagles today he definitely find himself in starting line up

Hushpuppi wasn't guilty of any crime until the FBI starting reasoning his case.

You think if the British authorities decide to investigate the matter and it turns out that he lied,he won't be guilty of any crime?
As per say Britain isn't Nigeria o...

Napoli captain, Dries Mertens on Osimhen:

"If I took a look at Osimhen out of curiosity? My friends from Charleroi spoke to me very well where he played before going to France, I don't know if he will come but in any case it is precisely that type of player that this Napoli needs."

Elder Uncle Kog, I greet u. I just wanted to balance things really.

Victor Moses remains the best winger we had in the last decade (2010 - 2019). Absolutely no debate about that. He deserves some
huge respect abeg.

Also, right now, what he has achieved has not been attained or surpassed yet by any of our current young wingers.

See eeh... How can I say thank you in Hausa language? You just nailed it. Gbam

I must admit though that the current wingers like Chukwueze, Simon, Kalu, Ejuke, Bonaventure, Onyekuru still have their best years in front of them and are all still upcoming.

One or maybe two of them could end up matching or surpassing Victor Moses' legacy of achievements with the Super Eagles and at club level and a few of them like Chuks truly have world class potentials to be much more but they are still growing so UNTIL THEN, we must accept that FOR NOW, Victor Moses is their boss on the wings.

This is my submission.

Well said Sir. The way we do our rating lasan. It is well.. If you don't like player or his style of play talk am not that you will tag such player worthless
Thank you Soetan, not rating a player shouldn't be a yardstick to tag such player a shit

I can tell you that I don't rate Ekong but he is one of the best three performing Nigeria CB this season with Omeruo and Semi Ajayi.

Yes, that is true unfortunately but only for the final periods he had with us before he retired.
It doesn't and shouldn't erase the fact that he gave us his passion, his best and even better attitude in the early years of his sojourn with us.

Do we need Victor Moses back in the Super Eagles? Personally I don't think so. We have enough quality young options giving Rohr lots of headaches already, a few of which truly boast world class potentials.

But would I have a problem with his return to the team, if he does return? Absolutely not. I think that will only expand our depth pool and see us draw from the quality and experience of another player in a top 5 league doing it for a top Serie A club.

Exactly my thoughts having best pool of players gives you a lot of varieties on what to do with opponent.
