This is bullshit. Nobody should lose or benefit from this global tragedy. The tragic experience clearly shows the things that are really important and essential in life and that should be the determinant factors for what a buoyant economy should be like. Not forecasted and projected GDPs that doesn't really make any difference in everyday people's lives. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nawaaoh: This is not the time for the economic terminologies bullshit that five or ten percenters have been using for centuries to scan the world. It is time for reality and the essentials. You need to ask yourself what a dying man actually needs. |

Nawaaoh: The answer could be in something as dimple as trade by better between countries and regions . Leave out none essential and focus on things that keep people alive until the storm passes. Respective governments should take charge of their country economy by making sure that those that not in essential production businesses does not go hungry or become homeless. |

If this could happen to Japan then Nigeria does not stand a chance at all, and we have a President that does not know what he is doing or what's going on around him. |

The Japanese are strong people and things like these will never move them to tears, they remain the only country capable of surviving atomic bomb destruction and still go on to build a strong nation, corona virus and recession is a child's play when compared to a weapon of mass destruction of that magnitude, Japanese Economy will rise again those people are very fast, agile and smart. 2 Likes |

mysticwarrior: The Japanese economy has been in bad shape since the 90s. It has been living off borrowing. What is shocking is that it has not imploded since. Surviving a war means nothing. Many Western countries lay in ruins after World War 2 and look where they are now. Germany in particular witnessed vengeful air raids by the allies bombed German cities willy-nilly and with glee. Go there today and there are no signs of a war |

Re: Japan, The World’s Third Largest Economy Falls Into Full-blown Recession by grandstar(m): 11:52am On Jul 07, 2020 |
mysticwarrior: How many countries have been nuked? Only one. A decorated donkey is still a donkey. A ruin is a ruin no matter how you look at it. Most German cities were in rubble after the war. Other European cities were not exempt from this tragedy. Yet, they were all rebuilt. Many, 2 decades after the war, there were barely signs of any war. It is good economic policies that make economies great and not simply resilient. 1 Like |
