This is also another serious issue the question should be "Is your friend willing to marry you?.
And additionally imagine u been a friend to a girl/guy and u try to ask that person out u hear stuff like i respect us been friends.

A friend who u can share anything with
Someone who is ur companion
A friend who knows in and out of u
Who has no hidden secret
By marrying a person with those quality I mentioned above , ur marriage would last like olumo rock

The other side of the question they don't treat is " are you your best friend's best?
As a married man, I will advise you to marry someone you can tolerate when he/she is in his /her worse moment. That boiled down to acceptance and understanding. Before you get to the alter to say I do, access your ability to manage your partner's worse moment than focusing on the good time you are going to enjoy together because good time rarely leads to separation but bad time does.

On a serious note, the only advice I will give to couples or intending couples is, LOVE SOMEONE YOU MARRY, DONT MARRY SOMEONE YOU LOVE.

Don't be confused about that statement. It means, even if it's an unavoidable situation that made u both become husband and wife just love yourselves cos that's the only way your marriage can be successful.

Saying u should not marry someone u love doesn't mean u should marry someone u hate..NO, but u will agree many people were lusting cos of maybe the current qualities their spouses had then, so what happens when those qualities are no longer available Hatred sets in, and the family is torn apart.... Love your wife, love your husband!

I remember telling God years ago, that if I don't hear him, I won't Marry! I had so many people around me who were willing to marry me but my mind was made up.

Glory to God, He Gave me His Choice for me..

Hearing God eliminates Struggles! When things are looking funny, HE Shows up and fixes it because HE is only Committed to where He sends you!

It's what God Gives that He is committed to!

Your friend is some one that you can give any of your valuable item to in time of need. But marriage is an agreement. If you have such a friend and you both negotiate marriage and agree to the terms, you both are in for a happy life.

Marrying your friend means getting married to a lady or a man you both started without marriage intention at the initial point, but along the line you found that person to possess the qualities you desire in your future partner. It is not advisable to marry a stranger because the understanding you both need to live together as husband and wife might not be available. Meanwhile, to a greater extent, you understand your friend. I got married to my wife whom I met as a friend during our 200 level back then in Uniabuja. To the glory of God, we are living so happily as best of friends because we so much understand each other.

Worldly friends are the people that can never get tired of you no matter the situations , a true meaning of for better and for worse.
