Interesting question, I am curious to know as well.

Not long ago a lady shared her story here about being married to a man who was taking her and their marriage for granted.

She said they were friends before lovers and before getting married.

Dont you fall out with friends? Its the same thing. No one is saying marrying your friend automatically means the marriage won't fail but it makes certain aspects of marriage easy like communication. The marriage will feel less like a task.

Your friend is someone who is real to you in every situation. In your presence or in their secret place they remain real and true to you.
Its hard to find.

All you see around are people who pretend to love or like you just for their selfish interest... You go know the real person when you marry

I remember telling God years ago, that if I don't hear him, I won't Marry! I had so many people around me who were willing to marry me but my mind was made up.

Glory to God, He Gave me His Choice for me..

Hearing God eliminates Struggles! When things are looking funny, HE Shows up and fixes it because HE is only Committed to where He sends you!

It's what God Gives that He is committed to!

It's rare but possible to have the opposite sex as your friend. My best friend is a lady, we have been friends from childhood and I trust her even more than my male friends. There are some secrets she has shared with me that her parents/siblings does not even know of.
