Thank you very much but what I need actually is the loan , not the proof. If I get proof and don't have money, it won't be of much benefit to me. I have tried Prodigy finance but my school is not on the list of people they sponsor , they sponsor mostly US schools and very few UK business schools. I decided to resort to Nigerian banks , that is why I want to know if anyone has used Nigerian banks . I have sent a mail to my bank as I have banked with them for years but they are yet to reply me , though on their website they don't give study abroad loan. 1 Like |

Unfortunately, we don't have automated student loan system like the UK has for their citizens, collecting a loan is not an easy process, you have to have some earnings and pay back system to work with. I doubt you will get much answers here to be honest... You should be speaking with Financial Institutions, since you sent a mail, go directly to your account officer and seek advice. they are the ones to help. Perhaps attempt to look out for fully funded scholarships such as Commonwealth and Chevening, if it doesn't work, Plan and Save up..Delay is not denial Movinghigher: 2 Likes |

Good day house. I'm a silent follower of this thread and I would say the thread is helpful. I already got admission into two schools which I'll be picking one from the schools. My spouse and I will be getting married by August as I want to apply for visa as married and also see if he can go with me (me being the primary applicant and him dependant). My questions: 1. My dad is the one sponsoring me as the money would be in his account, for my spouse will his maintenance fee also be in my dad's account or his own personal account or mine? 2. I would be applying for visa in less than a month after marriage. Won't this be raising any flag when we are about to apply for visa? 3. Will he also be able to work while I study, as my study is for a year? Thanks |

1. Your own money can be in your dad's account but not your husband's. Your husband's funds have to be in your account, his account or a joint account which has his name as an account holder. If you can, why not ask your dad to transfer the funds to you? That way, all the funds you and your husband require can be in one account. If not, use your dad's account for you and use yours or your husband's account for him. 2. It won't raise a raise flag as long as evidence provided shows a genuine relationship. Your marriage certificate plus other docs (like pictures, your bank statements with same address post and/or pre-wedding, bills if you lived together prior to your wedding) that prove you've been in a relationship prior to your study quest will help. That way it doesn't seem that the marriage was contracted solely for Visa purposes. The docs listed up there are just a guide, not an exhaustive list and if you don't have them, don't panic, your wedding pictures including pre & post-wedding pictures will help; it's a new marriage so you wouldn't have been able to build up that many documents. 3. Yes, he will be able to work full-time on T4 dependant visa. pwettyhardey: |

Thanks @mimilyrics. Would they expect the money to be sent to me every month. Like the way Germany is for blocked account or theirs is just to see the money for that period of 28days |

Yimi4real: Three hours. You must report very early so you can get number 1-7. The chest x-ray is 2mins then you wait for certificate for approximately 50mins. 2 Likes |

No. Previous transaction history isn't required for T4 visas. You just have to show that the money has been in your account for 28 days prior to the submission of your online application. i.e if the full money is paid in on July 10th, you should start your 28th day count from July 11th. pwettyhardey: |

Good day guys, I'll like to ask if the visa office is open for T4 visa application. Can we start applying for visa with the assurance that we get an interview date? Also for the TB test, can we go for the test now? I'm sorry if I sound novice, but I need to be sure we can proceed with this action points even during this Corona pandemic. Thanks guys |

Visa Application Centres in Nigeria aren't open for applications yet but IOM is open for TB tests. Use this link to keep checking for VAC updates: https://pos.tlscontact.com/nigeria sagbar: |

sagbar: On whether the TLS will open, I have closely studied events and am taking the risk. I am very positive about it. The UK won't return passports if they have no plans to open up. If you closely follow Boris broadcast, he is always saying that he is ready to go. I will advice you follow your instinct. For TB you can go ahead. I got mine today and it expires January 6th next year. |

Movinghigher:You can check out Future finance. They're based in the UK and offer loans to international students. But you need a UK based guarantor. 3 Likes |

Future finance wouldn't process a loan application while the student is outside the UK. Prodigy processes loans while students are outside the UK but they are only available for students of certain schools. Zeecos: |

Hello great people. Please, I deferred my admission to January 2021. Considering the rush & everything, would it be wise to book for medicals now? At this rate, I’d probably get an August date anyway. I’d appreciate your suggestions please. |

Youtook: Why do you want to book for medicals now when you’ve already deferred your admission to January 2021? Unless you’re going for September 2020 entry, I see no reason for the rush. 3 Likes |

Hello everyone. Has anyone here recently renewed their passport? I need to renew mine in a few days and I’ve been told I need my NIMC slip to do so. I don’t have the slip anymore but I was able to retrieve my NIN using a shortcode I got off the NIMC website. I assume the primary detail they need off the slip is the NIN? |
