Olaidecool: Electrical Engineering and information technology is English taught course but i believe there are some electives in german; hence, they requested for a little knowledge of german, and you guys will write a German placement test upon arrival at the university. My advise are: if you have german certificate, upload itI

Olaidecool: Electrical Engineering and information technology is English taught course but i believe there are some electives in german; hence, they requested for a little knowledge of german, and you guys will write a German placement test upon arrival at the university. My advise are: A. if you have german certificate, upload it B. If you are yet to get the certificate, ignore the upload and send. Though, during assessment, if it is important, they will request for it via email with something like Dear Ms. Olaide, We look forward to your online application for a place at our university. There have been changes in the "Upload documents" area in the last few days. For more information, please log in at the following link: www.primuss.de/status-thd Since the changes can influence participation in the admission process, non-compliance may lead to exclusion from the process. Please take note of the changes immediately so that you can make any corrections on time. Best regards Deggendorf University of Technology Study center C. If you don't have any knowledge of german, i would have said you should apply but due to the German placement test upon arrival, it is dicey; though there are courses at Deggendorf that requires knowledge of German and you can still apply (Industrial Engineering for instance) but they would enroll you for German classes as part of your semester's courses . For Mechatronic and Cyber-Physical Systems, you are good to go

Sharonte: Do you mean a letter the school sent you to send to the embassy so they can hasten up your visa application? |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by walexies: 11:22am On Jul 08, 2020 |
NUMI05: Bros, it varies; yours was 11days, someone's application was less than 5 days, while other person's maybe longer than the 21 days that you stated. @ everyone here: Until you get a rejection letter, please never lose hope; not just for Jena, but also for other schools. |

Dremog: You are in category A (I THINK). Someone had similar issue during summer semester and did his interview. You can check the thread within December - January for his moniker and probably message him. SHALOM |

Bro, 0.5% is the commission on the transaction. That is, 0.5% of the total amount you intend to transfer (0.005 x 10,236 euros) Previously VAT (Value-Added Tax) in Nigeria was 5% but late last year, the federal government of Nigeria increased it to 7.5% and it was implemented this year, hence the 7.5% of the transaction. Later in the day, I will tell you about that of Fidelity Bank, a bit busy to type that now. Don't worry about the calculation (we understand some people don't like even the basic mathematics), you can post your options here and each bank's rate, we would tell you which one is cheaper. Please, nobody should attack them as regards the basic math, just see it as an avenue for us all to learn and know the rates of each bank and which one is way cheaper. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone. Please I have a question. I’ve been hearing some news that Nigerians have been banned from traveling to Europe and USA because of the pandemic. The question; Does this information affect Nigerians living outside the country? Thanks |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by CooKeed(m): 2:48pm On Jul 08, 2020 |
abdquadr: If you carry a Nigerian passport I expect any policy affecting Nigerians to affect you as well, regardless of where you reside. |

No, it doesn't. If you live outside Nigeria and you hold a resident permit to any other country aside Nigeria then you are good to go. You can have your interview with the German Consulate in the country you are currently. abdquadr: 2 Likes |

Good day everyone. I'd appreciate if I can get information about German student visa and institutions with free tuition fee. I studied electrical/electronics engineering in school (HND). How possible is it for me to get a BSc with my certificate. I also want to know when application will be opened. I'd love your response asap. |

Paul94: Public schools in Germany offers tuition free for most courses Most schools opened July 1st to August 20 (though some have closed). You stand a better chance, though final say is with each school. Deggendorf Institute of Technology would close July 15, so apply as soon as possible (www.th-deg.de). The best way to know the list of these schools is to visit www.daad.de, filter based on your preference 1 Like |

walexies: Thank you for your response. I appreciate. The next entry is October @ DIT. Do you think it's advisable to apply considering how long it takes for visa application processing in Nigeria. Or should I just wait for the next entry or wait for other schools to open their application. |

Hello Nairalanders!!! I would like to know if anyone here is a student of Advanced Computational methods in Civil Engineering at RWTH AACHEN. I got rejected at TU Dresden cuz I made 5 Cs in some courses in my undergraduate studies. Now I'm planning on applying to RWTH for almost a similar programme. RWTH AACHEN does not disclose the selection procedures.I will be grateful if a student of Advanced Computational methods in Civil Engineering in RWTH tells me about his/her grades in mathematics and mechanics courses in his/her undergraduate studies... |
