Being below 30 years and having a Master degree gives you an advantage. Just ace your IELTS and you are good to go. All the best.

For those that wish to write CIIN, registration for the October diet has commenced.

Please do you have any idea on whether the newly introduced curriculum will take effect from this October or next year?. I need to be sure before I register.

Hello Nairaland
Please I need valid opinions and answers
My husband date of birth on Wes is different from d date of birth on his passport. What do we do? D date of birth with the university is wrong but the one on the passport is right. We don’t know how to correct it with Wes. If it can’t be corrected will it affect our PR application

All application goes to the AVO Accra Visa Office.

Not ALL. there are different visa offices. In different countries.

Wow, I didn't know of this method. I was looking to apply then sponsor my spouse (soon to be married) when I get PR, mainly because I'm below 30, I have a masters and I had lots of time on my hands to study for IELTS.
We both agreed to this method and he is the one financing the whole process since he tried ielts and his results wasn't too good.

I decided to read up online following this information you posted and saw you can include your spouse after AOR and it wouldn't affect your score. Does that mean I have to wait till after the AOR before we get married to avoid any discrepancy? Please enlighten me on the appropriate path to follow.

My simulated score with my ielts is 478 adding him with his band score of 6 in ielts is really dropping the score and oga has given up on ielts.

Thanks in anticipation for your knowledgeable response guys.

What are the challenges ACCRA poses as regards to this method?

quote author=Stencil post=91506792]Apply as single, lock your scores
Get married, add your spouse
Scores remain the same since you got married after ITA.
Final and most important step: Pray against Accra, or get involved in something (school, new business venture etc) that even if you land in Accra, it won't affect you that much.

It's the Old curriculum that the 2nd Diet will use, just register for the CF1, CF2 and any other course to make it three.

Guys, Accra is a Visa office where applications are processed. Only problem is that they are quite very slow to process applications. Accra processing your application doesn't mean you have a problem, it just means, you need to up your patience level. Do what is right for your application and submit, no one can tell you which office you'd land in. Just that their office is close, if your application is a bit complex, or they feel you need to come and clear something, you COULD be sent there so if they need interview, you can make it to Accra which is in Africa. Also couples have been sent to Ottawa and others too. So, chill. Do your own first and leave what you cannot control.

Scores are locked Post AOR.
If you get married after you submit your application, your scores are not affected.
There are several posts on this topic including tweets from IRCC confirming this.
The only downside for those applying from Nigeria is that your application might move to Accra visa office, and they're notorious for unnecessary delays.

Bros, I dont want do be a bearer of not so good news, but if u filled ur profile on June 12, 2020 you will not get an invite.
Tie breaker was February 11th, 2020.
I'm sure the next invite in the next fortnight will be lower than 478 considering the way the pool is populated.
And you will get then, u can start gathering your documents.
Cheers mate
