there are upper and lower B2s. I think he got the lower one in speaking

@Mamaroon thumbs up for your good works that has extended here too.

We are considering TEF to boost scores as PA will loose points to age by Aug 1st if this resumed general draw continues but the CRS cut off is higher than the 463 points that we (dont mind us) presently have.

I am unable to get any info about the upcoming tests in Lagos, pls can you help out?

Hi, thanks for all your efforts and guidance on this thread.

I'm currently on 457 spouse unaccompanied and I've maxed out IELTS. I finally decided yesterday to try TEF because by October I'll lose points for age. I only know basic french but I'm a fast learner.

I plan to write in October, registed in duolingo and some other online french classes. Could you estimate how many points the lowest band (4?) would give me? I'm assuming i should at least be able to get that with 3months of intensive practice.

If by band 4 you mean CLB 4 that's zero points.

You should probably give yourself more time to write the exam, October may be too soon. Start from the first page of this thread for resources and tips on how to begin the TEF journey. Good luck!

Thanks for your response, its much appreciated. I already have a masters and would have gotten ITA if i made the decision to go spouse unaccompanied earlier. I thought I had time, untill Coronavirus happened. I probably should have started the french lesson from the beginning of the lockdown, but better late than never.

Thanks for suggestions on timing. I'll see how far I can go from now before I decide when to register.

CE: rapid rail, toast au caviar, aric bio, cantine, beaucerons, listes de taches.
CO: violence in sports, grotte, neo-consomateurs.
EE: something about a dancer and opera. b: romans ne sert rien vs journauxs
EO: ski trip, convince do cuisine @ domicile

now to wait for result make i know if na France i write give or Buhari because your truly was on auto-pilot today.
