What most people in relationships/marriages fail to realize is that "YOU ARE A REPLICA OF THE PERSON YOU ARE WITH". meaning if the person you're in a relationship with/ married to is Selfish, abusive and all that, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that you are the same too, just that while trying to play the innocent victim, you have closed your eyes to REALITY.
SELF-AWARENESS is just like an onion( say with 5 layers/barks). The more barks you peel or layers you open, the more tears build up in your eyes. Most people stop after the second or third layer because the tears become too much to handle and then they decide to address only issues on the outer layers leaving the core/root problems( inner layer) uncovered..
For those who have read the book "MYSTERY METHOD", you could see that even tho mystery and style ended up becoming great PUA's, the tendency to return back to being a SIMP and an AFC was always there because he did not uncover down to his inner layer...
True SELF-DEVELOPMENT only starts when thorough SELF-AWARENESS is done and the truth is that they both take YEARS to accomplish....
HOW TO BECOME SELF-AWARE??
Start taking responsibility of anything that happens to you whether its your fault or not..sounds funny right?, here are examples
****It might not be your fault that your relationship/marriage/business falls apart but whatever happens after that is your responsibility..
****It's not your fault that you are short/unemployed/not intelligent but it's your responsibility to not allow any of these things affect your SELF-ESTEEM..
Stop blaming the govt., friends, family e.t.c for your misfortunes even tho they are responsible..Take responsibility of whatever happens to you, recreate your values, Change your mentality and views and then SELF-AWARENESS starts then SELF-DEVELOPMENT follows suit...

REMEMBER
LIFE IS 5% WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AND 95% HOW YOU REACT ACT .....MEN DON'T REACT, WE ACT and we do so according to our individual values ....

"NOTHING IS AS SIMULTANEOUSLY FEAR INSPIRING AND AROUSING TO A WOMAN ( to humans generally) AS A MAN SHE SUSPECTS IS AWARE OF HIS VALUE".
