and moreover experience has taught me that most of this players from French league barely live up to expectation in the epl some it takes quite a while prior they hit the ground running so putting up such huge sum on them is risky....

arsenal still using their tongue to count their teeth for the Pepe signing
So true

this guys always make silly moves
I won't be surprised....
he prefer to be a second choice striker in the epl.

that's why sometimes you see us here fo after this FB they tend to be smarter and understand the terrain more than this home groomed talents

one thing still standing for Ighalo today was the moves he made....first played for Lyon Oslo, then Udinese in Italy, then Granada in Segunda B and later Watford in championship prior the premiership and then head to China did well prior he now made the move to his beloved club

and he is doing very well now..... his moves have always been on point.

not every player must play in the EPL

I still believe the poor and bad moves contributed to the nwakali brothers bad career progression and also Isaac success

Agreed

But Ighalo didn’t had the chance to be a regular at the top league in his young age ,just like his Udinese days

Note: On Wednesday, he took part in a friendly with his side Royal Antwerp against KAS Eupen ahead of the new season.

Lol... Nwakali go hang for back. grin

I'm sure you can see Omoruyi in front. The lad is a Spanish-born Nigerian lad. Born in 2001 in Huesca, Spain to Nigerian parents from Edo State who are based in Spain. He is a forward who has been with the Huesca U-19s. In late 2018, he gave an interview where he said Daniel Amokachi is his idol. And the kid sef looks strong like a bull. I find him interesting. Lol

Who is Omoruyi ?

Chris my good man, you know you could have taken it easy on our elf. Abeg.

I know you are a hard hitter grin but you for go soft here especially to celebrate "that thing." wink

And to be frank, he doesn't even know the guy. So it was an opportunity to educate him but without hitting him as hard as you did. Calm down okay. I will find you more francophone concubines to calm thy nerves. grin wink

This is no longer funny, you are being overly stupid lately.

This same Tolu I watched being bullied in Guateng invitational tourney few years ago, looks 40 to you? I still remember vividly the words of the SA commentator in our last match against Atletico U18s when he gassed out and was about to be subbed off, the commentator was like - "and the lanky kid gets saved by the coach as he was already gasping for breath and could only foul his opponents to keep up with their pace..."

You don't follow these kids, neither do you really see games, but you are always quick to get in here to say stupid things. Your kinds are all over Facebook, maybe you should consider taking your trade to FB, it is irritating reading these stupid posts from here. angry

Yup. I agree. Anything beyond at most, two seasons in a league like Latvia as a young player is not worth it for career progress.

Lukman Zakari moved from Metta, Latvia after a season there to Real Betis. Now with their B team I think. Tosin Aiyegun moved to FC Zurich in the Swiss league from Ventspils in Latvia too. Akin Akinyemi moved to IK Start of Norway.
None of them spent beyond 2 seasons in Latvia.

Hope the other truly talented young ones follow suit to more decent leagues.

Philosopher1979:

He and other good nigerian players need to move to a better league. It is a good place to start though (At least they are given playing time) but by next year they should try and mive to holland belgium france or somewhere respectable. Spending too much time in a league like this makes them less credible. If they continue to do well i beleuve they will go somewhere better. Terem moffi started in Finland

You might be right. Lemme ask who is the president of Naples when those moves happened? Look at the their current striker milik staying close to decade before he decided not to renew his contract and the president saying he won't collect nothing less than 50m from any club. It says Alot about his person. Koulibaliy is another example.

Let see what will happen afterward..

The question is if Koulibaly really want to move.

Milik hasn't stayed long in Naples. Infact, the reason he's still there is due to double ACL he had in his first season. He was promising before the injury and would have moved the following year. This is his 4th year though.

I'm 99% sure Osimhen will move to Napoli. Hearing what Gattuso said yesterday, all these are just rumours.

Gattuso said after the game against Genoa:

“We will hardly find a strong player like Milik on the market, it takes many millions. But when a player thinks that his cycle is over you have to listen to it well, just as you have to do with the coaches and the club. "

“Compared to Milik, Osimhen has different characteristics. When he arrives I will explain, for now he is a Lille player “.

He guaranteed that Osimhen was coming.

yeah with the output from PEPE I don't think many epl clubs will take the risk to spend much on any product from the French league like that anymore

proving yourself in France and then Italy will tell the elite clubs that you've truly come of age and trust me that could spark a bidding war

Pepe alongside Saka and Auba should be the best players at Arsenal this season

He was certainly overpriced!!

But you can't deny the talent and inputs

I expect Tottenham to make a move for him since they only have Kane as their only striker.

Remember when Kane was injured and they have to be playing false 9 with son and lamela filling in the gap.

Why do you think that ❓

Is he the only young Quality striker available in Europe ❓ and or in French league.

Looks like Deja Vu

The reliable Sky Sports reported that Napoli had agreed a deal for Nicolas Pepe, only for him to move Arsenal.

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12962/11770808/nicolas-pepe-napoli-agree-deal-with-lille-to-sign-ivory-coast-winger

But this is just rumours because Napoli offered more than 50M. Why would they reject a larger offer to accept a smaller one?

Sky Sports is not reliable in anyway

I foresee him breaking both Lacazette and Osinhem records in one season. He is talented and his right foot is so lethal. Plus his eyes for goal. Balon d'Or in 3years!!

Solanke has no relevance here.

Make this bobo choose Napoli oooo

As much as I like the EPL, there isn't a surety that any EPL club is willing to spend that much to get him....

And Napoli have truly shown how much he is needed...

Its his choice at the end of the day sha

Add to that who is he going to bench.

Particularly as speculation has it that he is looking at Manchester United and Arsenal.

Not advisable.

Iheanacho will be Leicester's number 1 in the coming seasons.

Vardy is 10 years his senior and will peter out in the coming years. Iheanacho is currently having his best season since his Man City days. Next season brings European football, and rotation is needed. He is a compatible backup for the league's highest goal, which is a good thing.

He probably made a mistake in remaining in England when he left Man City, but he will make a bigger mistake if he decides to leave now that the board and fans are generally satisfied with him.

You are being delusional with regards to KC
