Here is Why You Should Monitor Insider Dealings as a Nigerian Stock Trader Since the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) mandated listed companies to disclose insider dealings, a lot has changed as traders and stakeholders now have an idea of who is buying what, at what price level and quantity being bought. For instance, in the last one month, Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Access Bank, has been buying the company’s stock in large quantity and acquired a total of 7.532 million in the last on Month. Jejebabaa: I am over bearish (if such a thing exists). How anyone could be bullish is beyond me. On the bright side thou, the coming global inflation should see a significant rise in oil prices but knowing Nigeria we would find a way to mess that opportunity up. 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 3:20pm On Jul 09, 2020 |
RabbiDoracle: I'm holding physical bullion, gold miners and prospective gold mines. I am over extremely bullish on gold. When I'm bullish on something and I see people making a bear case, I just know that these are the ones that will Fomo in later. I'm selling half my bullion at $3k and I'll start reducing my miner exposure at $5k. As for the prospective mines..... Na my children go decide when to sell that one. |

THE POOR, THE RICH AND THE BANK!! 1. A bank is a broker between the poor and the rich. 2. The commonplace where the two meet is in a bank. 3. The poor bring money in the form of savings. 4. The rich take it, through borrowing. 5. A poor person saves money because they have more money than their thinking capacity. 6. They keep the money in the bank so they can go and think of what to do with the money they have saved. 7. On the other side, rich people come to pick that money, through borrowing, because they have more ideas than the money they have. 8. On a practical side, please who can show me one billionaire who got rich through saving. 9. I will show you a million Africans who have money saved in the banks and are still renting the houses that the Millionaires and billionaires build through the poor people savings which the rich borrowed from a bank. 10. I have now realized that the best savings and interests are acquired through investments and not savings. 11. It will surprise you that the only money that the rich allow in their account is the minimum balance to keep it alive. Every cash they have is seen on one investment or another. 12. Take a risk in your life, if you fail you will learn, and if you succeed you will be a good example to others. 13. The only shame you must avoid is to have shame. 14. You must know that all Millionaires and Billionaires you see today were once starters. Decide today to remove that money from your account and look for an investment to reap twice in due course TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT THE CHOICE IS YOURS! Nobody will force you 14 Likes 4 Shares

Access Bank Plc has notified shareholders of moves by its Zambian subsidiary to acquire Cavmont Bank Limited, a subsidiary of Capmont Capital. In a notice published on the Nigeria Stock Exchange website, Access Bank said there is no certainty that a transaction would be agreed on yet. “There can be no certainty that a transaction will be agreed, nor as to the terms of any such agreement. The completion of a transaction would be subject to formal regulatory approvals,” the notice signed by Sunday Ekwochi, Access Bank company secretary, read. “Access Bank will update the market as appropriate and in accordance with its’ disclosure obligations. “Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Access Bank’s securities until a full announcement is made.” On April 1, 2019, Access Bank acquired Diamond Bank Plc; a move that made it the largest bank by customer base in Nigeria. Access Bank, on April 1, 2019, had acquired Diamond Bank Plc. On January 17, 2020, the bank also announced that it had received approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria and other relevant authorities to acquire majority equity share in Transnational Bank Plc, a Kenyan-based bank. Access Bank currently has six subsidiaries across Africa, namely DR Congo; Gambia; Ghana; Rwanda; Sierra Leone; and Zambia, including the UK. House, pls How much WHT is deducted from dividends? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by aremso(m): 8:26pm On Jul 09, 2020 |
debeey87: 10% of total dividend |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ukay2: 8:28pm On Jul 09, 2020 |
debeey87: 10% of your dividend payment.... If your dividend is N100, 10% of it is N10....so you will get alert of N90. Some companies do not deduct the 10%WHT like Dangcem, Wapco, FMN from my experience |
