First of all, Iheanacho is in a favourable situation, his contract expires in 2 years time, if he has not been getting game time by then he leaves.

Secondly, Iheanacho is growing into a more complete striker without us noticing. Let's compare him with Vardy by game time.

Better Goal contribution per 90
Vardy's non-penalty G+A per 90 is 0.74, Iheanacho contributes 0.87.

Iheanacho hits 50% of his shots on target , the 5th highest in the league.
This comes even though he averages the 9th most shots per 90 in the league.

Creativity wise, Iheanacho is involved in 3.6 goal attempts per 90, compared with Vardy's 1.72. This puts him comfortably in the Top 20 in the league's most creative players. In fact, Iheanacho is one of the few strikers on this list.
He also averages the same key passes per 90 as Vardy.

Vardy carries the ball over a progressive distance of 60m while Iheanacho does this over a distance of 90m per match.
To illustrate better, against Arsenal Vardy had 19 touches over 90mins while Iheanacho who played 58mins had 21 touches.

This shows that while Vardy is playing as a poacher, iheanacho is becoming a creative forward. He is definitely improving learning at top-level.

All this your convolated manipulation of statistics to prove the implausible.

That he is what a quality striker, it doesn't work.

Three seasons at Leicester City, 68 games and 9 goals that's abysmal for a player calling himself a good striker.

Goal to time played ratio is not an absolute in determining goal probability and or quality. Football is not a mathematical equation.

This is self deception bordering on delusion.

That's why I said he's going to be stuck there for at least 2 years and by then, the "wonderkid" tag would've diminished....

Football is a very short term career.

You have to strike while the iron is hot.

You can be hot this season and next season and you have become cold.

One thing I realized is that Osimhen is not more concerned about the fee but playing time, Lille want to cash out big on him but Osimhen is thinking about his future

In the EPL, I'd rather he went to Arsenal though

None of the above.

Victor Osimhen gives greenlight To £50m Man Utd Deal

Nigeria Sensational Striker, Victor Osimhen, has opted to join Manchester United after rejecting Napoli’s lofty offer.

The Lille striker scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances this season. That form has brought him to the attention of Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

But it was Napoli who moved first for the 21-year-old; the Serie A side striking a deal worth £50m this summer.

Osimhen flew to Naples to hold meetings with Coach Gennaro Gattuso and president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“Victor went to Naples with his representatives,” his agent Osita Okolo told Calcio Napoli 24. “We talked and exchanged views on the city: the impressions were good, to tell you the truth.

“Victor isn’t always shy, although he would’ve preferred to make an important decision with less media exposure.

“After meeting De Laurentiis, Giuntoli and Gattuso, he told me he needed some time to make a decision, without any pressure.

“Later this week he was quoted not ‘interested’ to accept Napoli’s offer.”

However, Osimhen is yet to sign on the dotted line and is thought to be keen to see who else comes in for him.

According to report, citing Football Italia, the striker feels pressured into joining Napoli and could yet steer clear. Furthermore, they claim he wants to move to the Premier League with Manchester United in his sights.

United recently struck a deal to extend Odion Ighalo’s loan until January 2021, but his return to China will leave an opening in their squad.

The Red Devils have relied on Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood this season. Pundit Owen Hargreaves is now expecting big things.

I hope this isn't true

I seriously doubt this. I think Napoli is the best option that has been named. If u watch them it's like they are begging for a striker like him.

I know Burnley very very well, he doesn't have the physicality nor the work ethic to play in thier team and finally he doesn't have blue eyes.

Newcastle, possibly but he look at the pedigree of strikers they buy. The don't buy out of form striker who have not done anything in three seasons. They need a player to move them up not take them down. They already have strikers close to impotency they don't need to add another.

Brighton he brings nothing to the table they don't already have. Neal Maupey is proven and tested. Also thier recruitment is unique, very methodical led simply will not buy him. When Chris Houghton was there he had very limited input in recruitment.

Southampton he is not good enough look at Ings, Long and he is not going to displace Obafemi or Ched Evans.

Victor Osimhen’s entourage have reiterated that “he wants to be 100% sure". The deal is all done with his entourage, and all done with Lille (offer accepted between €60m and €70m). There is no deadline, but Napoli will not wait forever.

Hmmm, Newcastle sounds tasty right now. Saint Maximin would be my newcomer of the season if such award existed. I put him on par with Zaha and Adama. Almiron just runs and runs but he has purpose behind it. Then a technical guy like Shelvey pulling the strings with pinpoint passes. Iheanacho would score double digits in that squad.

Lol... Relax. We will see the end of this. If he wants to be 100% sure, then let him be. It's a major next step for the lad.
Even Haaland took his time before settling for Dortmund eventually. He visited Leipzig and also visited Dortmund. His dad visited Man Utd. All these visits and more done before Håland finally picked Dortmund.

Which one is entourage? Let his agent step forward and speak na. This is how they allowed the poor narrative at the end of his Wolfsburg stint spread in the media. Your representatives shouldn't leave you out to dry at moments like this they should make sure the public is always on your side.

His agent is Jean-Gerard Benoit but it seems the talks from Osimhen's camp comes more through his brother-in-law and manager, Osita Okolo.

Hardly heard/read the actual agent give a statement. But I hope things come to a fine end soon.
