grin grin grin Like releasing annual report with a promise to pay 0.22 kobo dividend today and releasing another tomorrow indicating 0.11 and eventually paying that. "You are Fidelity, you keep your word"

Loooooool

Make you know remind me what Fidelity did to us...shareholders in FY 2018...it was a disaster.

That we keep our words should be removed.

I thank God they pay us what they stated this FY2019.....

I am interested sir. I also wondered how 10m will result in 46m at 16.5% in 10years. I thought if you get 16.5% every year on your 10m, you'd have 1.65m annually and 16.5m accumulated after 10years if you add that to 10m that's 26.5m. How have I missed it, sir?

Also sir, how would i know when the next primary market offering is out? what do I need to track and how do I know if the rates are wise to invest in or not.

Thanks
Bros the 46m they box ur head lol ok here is the calculation
Using compound interest formal : P(1+r)^n
Where P= principal(10m), r= rate(0.165), n = numbers of years (10yes)
10,000,000(1+0.165)^10
10,000,000(1.165)^10
10,000,000* 4.6053
= 46,053,140.73

Thanks a lot bro. Please quick clarification, what I want to do is transfer naira to my naira account then use the atm of the naira account to pay for the item... Hope I don't need to go open a dorm account with USD denominated atm card before I can pay for the item or spend up to this limit?

You don't need a dorm account for this.
A naira account with visa/MasterCard profiled for international transaction will do.

u re right. dont mind those saying no,opportunity for village. u cant compare a village in certain states to villages in other areas. u cant compare a village in kano to a,village in anambra. so it all depends. in,my village for, anmabra there are many millionaires springing up on daily basis, even some billionaires have relocated back to d,village. just do what works for u, everyone aint same

Yea so I have 2 business outlets one in town and another in a supposed village, I make more money in the village bcs the competition in the town is mad. The volume of transaction is being shared by soo many big boys in the game who ignore the villages, but unknown to many.....these villages are evolving gradually.

So like u said, do what works for u, asaba is somebodies village, like owerri too....

There is always a catalyst in every success story out there, but most people who share these stories will not tell you that part of the journey. We all need to challenge ourselves and get the heck out of our comfort zones if we truly want to achieve our full potential!

Very good, no doubt about that but when everybody moves to Lagos and you are the loan champion in ebonyi then you will pick everything and become more than an average Lagos millionaire. My case is different sha and it worked and don't tell me if it were Lagos it will be better than what it is because am contented and always very happy which is the key word. this an investment thread on how to make money ...not how to retire chasing money is beyond money itself..everbody cannot move to Lagos....there is kd,kano, jos anambra warri ibadan....there no Nigeria city or state that dont have oppurnties similar to Lagos ....the only difference is the scale
...in Lagos is on a larger scale ....we are here to learn how to make sustainable wealth and money .stop encouraging young people to remain i villages after graduation unless that want to be farmers ....

One was working with Mobil but lived by lasu, he only goes home on time off because he will never return to work on time if he dare goes home. When he finally moved from he can't build a house yet because he doesn't have time and pays rent of 3m annually, why should I work to pay rent? Age is approaching and he will return home. U can get all those things from the village, I turned down civil service jobs, turn down so many jobs, when you are the king in the village you are sort after but if in Lagos then you scramble for things with everyone. I stated that I built my first house while in the village and the Lagos folks couldn't do same. Imagine not scouting for contracts because you are the only competent hand that can deliver without question. I worked at my paste, no pressure and made all the profit alone, no competition unlike Lagos, who I be

@ Barrytone, I understand your point of view perfectly as it reflects the kind of person I am. However, that is just an unconventional approach to life by a few and so, do not expect the majority to understand this approach. I've been in a town before, earning low, however, rejected job offers willing to pay more than twice my salary in Lagos, just because of some of the things you highlighted (although I was born and bred in Lagos). People close to me thought I was crazy, but in the long run, staying back in that peaceful and quiet environment gave me the required serenity to tap into more valuable opportunities that generations unborn will long enjoy after I'm gone. Your mindset and approach is for a few, not majority; there's no explanation that can convince anyone otherwise.

I am happy with you, God will continue to bless you.
My advice to the younger ones, don't try this. This cannot work again in Nigeria of today except you want to be a farmer or a councillor in the village. There are lots of opportunities in the cities. If I had remained in my village I would have been a primary or secondary school teacher or even a palmwine tapper. Pls go out of your convenience and you will succeed.
If you are not sure of the future don't leave your comfort zone. Stop gambling with your future, there is gold everywhere, so many federal law makers never left their village. As a grassrooter, you are reference by the returnees and you choose what you take. I rejected so many offers until the right one came. I contested councilor like you said but they said I should wait for something bigger though it's not that party caucus that sort me out but it was related to village activity: someone I protected his project not knowing he is a Lagos big boy in a multinational, he was shocked that I was a chemical engineering graduate and got me two different jobs and advise I take my present job as it will unlike the other that pays in dollar but on contract basis. It all happened in the village.

For six years i was basically on the streets and built a house. I was doing better on the streets that's why I rejected job, the difference is I wasn't competing with anybody, I was refrenced as a chemical engr in the village. Even though I did most of civil jobs but an engr in the village is an engineer. Basically you get involved in committees to solve problem without even asking. Yes am from Akwa ibom but I never worked on slot and to clear you, it's a yoruba man I took care of his site that got me the job. I knew it will come, I just needed time. In my village, we have a beach we remove sand, I had 3 canoe and that's daily bread. I had okada and it was daily bread. I was a community leader of sort therefore had ease to do all my business without hindrance and levies. Palm fruits is a good mine though I didn't go there. The park in my town makes millions daily and it never gets to govt because it's salary for committees members and some council staffs. So many money making venture and you want omonile to insult me in Lagos, am not coming.

I got exemption, my Dean was busy explaining that the year barrier is at when you graduate and not when you are leaving for service, I waited to get to 30 years before going for clearance and used that as basis but the man turn it down, I had to go meet him and explain that it was deliberate, he should reject me which he did and I was glad. I remained in my village and became a kingpin. I used to work nysc posting for people back then but I knew that year will be wasted if I leave town
