NIRTAL. The one you just mentioned is Israeli- based on Tweeter whispers

Yes you are right, NIRTAL, I'm just confused which pmc doesn't have a website or portfolio?
If our generals can start building contraptions to save money and be happy, what stops them from doing their own local pmc, and hiring a few white faces as their own SF training contraption?

Come to think of it, isn't it the same soft skin technicals that the chadiens and caneroonians are using, obviously we should be doing far better than they are but the point I'm trying to make is that they use the same technicals we use but with far lower casualties than we get. I'm not even sure the chadiens field armoured vehicles as much as we do. So what exactly are we doing wrong.

Boko Haram Terrorists Relocating To North-West, North-Central As Bandits.

Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, who confirmed the movement of terrorists to the zones, noted that the type of weaponry found with the bandits such as anti-aircraft gun, PKT gun capable of shooting down an aircraft, was an indication that some Boko Haram criminals might have relocated to the North-West and North-Central.

SamuelAnyawu, please help ask soldiers in the north east about the general perception about the war. Are their improvements or are we regressing? Why are we seeing a change in the strategy these terrorists use, they have not known to be attacking in the raining seasons from years past. Heard a report from a soldier (not an officer) saying we are weeks away from winning the war and yet still I'm finding that extremely hard to believe.

Even when they were operating in Nigeria, they had very few casualties.

Factions whose leaders are out of favor with the central ISWAP command. They've resulted to living as criminals. But most times the conflicts between this factions are usually short lived.

You are totally right mate.
But don’t let us forget what lead to Chads military campaigns few months ago, in the true sense it was not a campaign because it was more of a retaliation when BH/ISWAP killed closed to 100 Chadian soldiers. And don’t forget the so called campaign didn’t last for month.
Am not justifying our poor performance against these stubborn animals, moreover they use technicals mounted with AAG likewise our own troops do with better training and other edge over them.
Brother have witnessed these; especially ambush scenarios; terrorist will throw all your technology through the window and make you look foolish and stupid! The best way to stop or bring casualties down is through making MRAPs/AFV/LAVs standard means of transport. If not it will still be the old stories of lamenting, the best way to fight through an ambush his through well protected armored vehicles and return with heavy suppressive fire!
Nigerian soldiers in the N.E are trying; riding on soft hilux vehicles with roads laden with I.E.D and ambush I doubt if any western or European military can survive what we undergo for 3-4-5 years in the north eastern part of Nigeria.
Another thing to add, it will be bad to compare us with Chadian army, they don’t get attack or ambush the way we do frequently. If they get attacked frequently the casualty will be higher than ours.

Travelling in your uniform without a convoy makes you an easy target . Shooters will make an easy meal out of you.
There needs to be an SOP on these things. Strict instructions on do's and dont's. What's the MOD/CGS doing for feck sakes. Thing is our military isn't proactive. They are slow to adjust and would rather resort to old, conventional way of doing things than accepting/adjusting to current realities. Wearing a camo and travelling in today's Nigeria without being armed or having backup or is just saying "hey come shoot me"

An IED does not know any nationalities.
The CHADs are not an open society like Nigeria where people have an overabundance of freedom of speech
While their casualties are not as high as Nigeria , a lot of stuff doesn't make it to the Media.
The idea of a Chadian Soldier going on sm to complain about their army is unthinkable setback or no setback.

Tho some peeps in Lake Chad believe Chadians add vodoo cheesy. The was a story in Monguno then that a Chadians truck went to weld some stuff there in Monguno. The Welder tried to put on his fire instrument close to the Toyota truck, but his instrument refused to lit up.

The Chadians driver had to pull out something from his dashboard and told the welder to start his job grin.

We will Continually meet several ambushes until we take the war to ISWAP/Bokoharam. ISWAP controls the major roads in Lake Chad. Currently they come out on Monguno-Maiduguri road daily. Two days ago they kidnapped six locals as they went through their phones and discovered the locals construct latrines for NGOs. Such Abduction will not be in the mainstream media as they are just locals.

We ain't serious to end this war bro cool ISWAP attacks a Monguno Military Garrison town with that has over 60 Military gun trucks, some MRAPS and MBTs with 12 guntrucks grin for three hours giving us the psychological war front
and back.

Well for now let's keep Repelling until things get better.

Who ever said we are winning this war should ensure we take a proper count of soldiers and ISWAP killed since January 2020 till date.

Later bro make I go Army officers Mess (Wolf) Maiduguri to drink some bottles Naija way weak me smiley

True. His killers happened to be kidnappers looking for unlucky victims along that highway. They sighted him in camo and opened fire on him immediately. Naturally, I don't even travel along deserted highways in camo. It is dangerous, it makes you an easy target. ....

How do you measure success? By a standard country like Nigeria sitting duck and wait for us to be attacked.

I don't know what measures GEJ used in 2015 pre-election. But I think we need that tempo
