In my previous articles, I have hailed the APC for throwing governor obaseki out of the party because he has no blood of a true progressive and I have been vindicated severally through the governor's poorly thought actions.
Now that Edo governorship elections is barely two months away, one will expect that governor obaseki will be focused on winning Edo people's vote by showing them his score card in the last three years, but this is not so. He is rather busy showing Edo people governor Abdullahi Ganduje's alleged bribe video!
More appalling is the fact that he displayed the video in the royal kings square for Edo people to watch on an electronic billboard installed by Adams oshiomole's government. What this means is that Edo people do not deserve to know what obaseki has done with their money in the last three years but rather they should be watching a freak show! What a slap on their face!
Ironically, the same governor ganduje that obaseki is trying to ridicule was one of the seven governors he knelt down to beg to help him save his APC ticket. This shows that obaseki is only good at biting the finger that fed him.
Another funny fact is that governor ganduje outperformed obaseki even in the first two years of his government in kano state, so who is suppose to ridicule who?
Governor obaseki and his co-travellers are tired of assassinating the character of pastor Osagie ize iyamu by calling him a cultist, fake pastor, land grabber, occultist etc and has now resorted to attacking the characters of members of the APC campaign council. This new charade of theirs will also backfire as we all know that governor obaseki lacks good advisers.
What all this shows to us who are the true indigenes of Edo state is that governor obaseki had PDP blood right from the onset and that is why he could not unite Edo APC that he met in one piece.
We the true Edo indigenes also know that one of the signs of people with PDP blood is that they love to assassinate peoples character which was the reason why they lost the 2015 general elections. The PDP was busy showing Buhari's past and assassinating his image instead of them to show Nigerians what they have done and will do. Alas they lost because Nigerians were wiser.
Obaseki who obviously has PDP blood in his veins has not learnt from the previous failures of the PDP and interestingly, it was the same name calling and character assassination that made oshiomole to throw him under the bus.
Edo people are wise, all we want to hear are issues based campaigns, not imaginary campaign and insults. Obaseki should learn from ize iyamu who till date has no record of insulting anyone.
Come September 19, Edo people will reply governor obaseki and his co-travellers in the PDP by sending them out of government house for good.
