Chat seller to discuss these things. Shipping method is often discussed and the price you want to pay for such. When you are through, ask seller to send you a PI (proforma invoice). The seller will send you this link in your message. You can then pay through credit card (just like in AliExpress) or decide to do a bank transfer. But whichever method you want just let seller know that you prefer a particular method. Below is me discussing with a seller.

I lost my job during this pandemic,so I decided to buy a laptop at AliExpress to start small something online with my last card.

I bought a laptop at the rate of $240 with free shipping (juicy right?). Gtb charged 390/$ , so I paid the total of 93600. 5 days later, DHL sent a message with a link for a payment.

When I opened the link, I nearly collapsed. They were demanding 60k as Custom duty and tax. I later gathered my strength and emailed them, demanding to know how they calculated the charges. That was when I got the shock of my life . They said that they reassessed my goods at$1000 (Crazy right?)

That was how we started exchanging email upon email,they now demanded to see evidence of the $240. I now supplied them with bank charge, AliExpress email sent to me at the point of purchase, seller's invoice,the link to the store I bought the laptop (they can go and buy as well if e shock Dem ) The bank charge, I made sure they saw my balance which is #435 .
So that they will know how broke I was

Well, after due consideration,my laptop was reassessed with the original price and the price fall yakata , I now paid18k7...

People of God,I'm happy to announce that I have received my lappy today.
Praise the Lord

Moral lesson: Sometimes,it is good to ask questions instead of swallowing everything thrown at us.

I somehow find out that my Account was logged out of Ali Express App after enabling an App Update but unfortunately I don’t have the password offhand. So I tried “forgot password” option so as to get access to my account but to my greatest surprise, all my orders, activity, shipped orders, chat with sellers were wiped out.
As I speak now, am at the verge of loosing all my orders including my redmi 8pro phone which is already at 80 days bp waiting period and still at dispatch to destination country.

Pls house, how can I retrieve all my orders. Urgent pls

Custom fee anad tax. This is why many people avoid DHL despite the speed of delivery. For Amazon orders, you have to make deposit.

Don't let your moniker take over you o.. Chat the seller up for possible refund. This is a hard time for most sellers, so, if it must be gift, let it be from his heart!

Update? When was that and what version is the update? If you're sure it's your account, chat the cc up for explanation. They might be able to assist/advice you appropriately.

Login to your account on a PC and see what you have there; it might be an app bug.
