Mamas in the house please I need urgent help with diaper brand suggestions. My daughter is five months old. I use molfix diapers. It leaks badly when she poos. It can only hold urine. I recently changed to size 4 cos size 3 became too small. I experienced bad leakage with both sizes so it’s not about the size. Please suggest another brand for me. I want to go and buy now. Thank you for your response.

Asda little angels is ok. If you have the money to spend, pampers premium.

Hello Mamas, please help!

Ever since my baby took the first rotavirus vaccine, her mouth has been smelling funny. It started smelling normal almost a month later till we took the second vaccine again.

Is this normal? Has any mama experienced this? I’m worried.

I don't know about smell oo. I didn't notice that. Did you deliberately deep smell her mouth or you always perceive the smell when she opens her mouth

Good morning.
It's very normal.
Both my older kids did this.
Like went from talking so well to stuttering.
For my first child, I actually cried. I cried because 2 of his father's siblings stammer. I cried so much, I embarrassed both of them cheesy
The second child I was more prepared.
Just keep talking to him.
He might be imitating someone.
As long as he had a clear speech before, it will come back.
A boy in my class does similar thing. Every time we sit with his mom for PTC that's the only thing his mom complains about.
Keep talking to your boy often.
Help me to form his speech in his head before he says it out.
Tell him to repeat the sentences without the stutter.
Don't show him your fear or else he'll clam up and stop talking, which would be worse.
Don't laugh at him.

Good luck.
If you don't observe any changes then you may go to the hospital when this coronavirus issues dies down.

@Rollykotex...Long time Momma, Its good to hear you and baby are doing great. @ Zaynie Madam has said it all. Been very quiet on this peggy page.
Its just normal....At 2 ,My Boy started around Novemebr last ur b4 clocking 3......when he wants to say long sentence and when he is trying to remember what he wants to say.....I just tell him to calm down and say it gently...... he still does it once in a while.....Dont be too worried, As long as it's not everytime he talks dt he does it......Good to hear you doing great....

Supervise his bathing a bit more. Ensure he pays good attention to his armpit and private parts.

Make a paste of baking soda and water and place in his armpits for a while before washing off

You may consider deodorants

Let him bathe after playing particularly in the afternoons

Ensure his clothes are well laundered

What can I use to cure the rashes on my baby private part.

Is it not diaper rash? You need to air the bum, you can use a little bit of ABF cream on the affected area . Did you change his diaper to another brand?

A good barrier cream like sudocrem would help. Also, baby tribotan works to clear it up in no time. When cleared, apply moderate layer of sudocrem, or tribotan or any good barrier cream regularly to minimize & prevent recurrence. Try to keep the area dry. Use diapers that trap moisture in and away from baby's skin, while changing regularly or change nappies promptly when wet.

Bad combination. Used this same combination on myself some years back and I noticed I started smelling funny. Even with the used if perfume. I had to stop both before the smell went away.

They are all good brands
You can use all three of them, afterall variety is the spice of life wink
But one at a time to check for any reaction. You can later stick to the one(s) he likes.

Use baby tribotan or sudo cream to clear the rash. After the rash has cleared, get original Vaseline and use it each time you change baby's diaper, it serves as a barrier cream.

If you want the barrier cream to be more effective, you can mix it with powder and castor oil. Vaseline and castor oil will form thick barrier against wetness while zinc oxide in the powder will keep the skin dry. Better still, buy Bells Zinc and Castor oil cream.

Hello moms,
please has anyone experienced this on baby skin? Battling it with Tribotan but its still spreading.

It could be eczema, infantile eczema or Atopic dermatitis. It is usually triggered, and the trigger can be bath soap, cream, detergent, even wool in clothes, food etc.

You may have to change soap to hypoallergenic bath wash (soap free) and keep moisturizing.

Please Google eczema in babies to know how to handle it

I'm sorry I'm just seeing this. I've not logged on here for ages!
Has it resolved? I really dont know how to advise in this situation

Giddyperson:
Biko, my son has been limping since yesterday and there's no remarkable event that I know of that could have led to the limping. I've pressed his legs and he doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain tho a point on his left thigh seems to be a bit painful for him when pressed really hard.

Has this happened to anyone before biko? Is it time to go get an x-ray or should I still watch it?

Zaynie, hunniesuzzie, jazzyjazz, floraec, anyone available

Please see a pediatric dermatologist
My son had recurring skin issues till I was told he has a sensitive skin and his cream and soap had to be changed. Plus we were given medication for it too.
