Baba I Don resume work since the lifting of the lockdown. Na mostly fast food I dey chow during weekdays.....Na only weekend I dey cook.

sorry to disappoint you but i got something better.

Food Story

like they say necessity is the mother of creativity
so this story would require your imagination, creativity ,your breath and your smile.


woke up this morning craving for toasted bread and hot chocolate Drink
i rushed to the bakery got a nice freshly baked sliced bread and every other thing.

got my bread buttered and my toasting machine all warmed up
as i placed each buttered bread on the 4 plates on the Machine
it made the sshss sshsss sounds as the butter melted to toast the bread
the whole kitchen was filled with lovely aroma

i picked up my egg solution mixed with sardine,onions, pepper, tomatoes and a pinch of salt
so i can pour on the already placed bread as i intend to make it Thick.

ran down stairs to turn on the Gen,
after pulling the rope few times in a bid to get it working

i placed my hands on my waiste and prayed for the light to come on
as i walked back to the Kitchen
and stood beside the toasting machine

After 45mins
i concluded to fry the eggs
but what would now happen to the buttered bread ?

Eureka !!!

i got my fry pan cleaned, placed it on the cooker on medium Heat
then poured some eggs on it (not too much)
after which i placed one of my butter bread in the middle for a minute
then i turned it around carefully with the egg facing up,
i placed another sliced buttered bread on it for cover,
left it for another minute then turned it around and covered it with a pot cover for steam.
When it was Done, it looked and tasted better than toasted bread.

That's how Nepa turned the light back on

But i did enjoy every bit of it.
I didn't take any chocolate drink as i finished everything while standing in the kitchen.
