Does anybody have any information on SPDC postgraduate scholarship?

I'm a little bit confused with the way PTDF handles this year's scholarship process. I thought the process takes long because of the restrictions in interstate movement. But now that such restriction was lifted, there is no any sign that PTDF will go on with the interview anytime soon.
The worst part of it is the communication gap between PTDF and the prospective scholars. PTDF could at least informed us of their plans with regard to 2020 scholarship so as not to continue keeping us in a dark.
Question: Do you people think schools closure will be the reason why PTDF are yet to conclude the interview process?

Probably. Another reason is that some prospective scholars are in abroad. They need to come back to Nigeria for the interview. International flight to Nigeria is currently banned. PTDF should embrace technology.

Who is Engr. K. S. Obayomi and where is his source? Is the Telegram group not just something like this one where we live on speculations?

I am not here to argue with anybody. Just that I do hope that what he says is true. When someone speaks, you can't just say he is telling the truth or he is telling lies in as long as no one can present the alternative fact. Lets allof us be always positive.

Many can't meet up even if the list is released now due to time. I don't think Europe will be opened this September/October session.

My prayer is to secure the Scholarship first then any other thing will follow by God's grace so I am not in a hurry.

There's still ample time for scholars to meet up if Ptdf releases the list by the end of the month. The entire visa and onboarding process shouldn't take more than a month

provided you have secured admission and maybe ATAS for uk guys as your course demands.

Maybe the guy here was referring to the updates for current and previous beneficiaries.

According to the help desk line handler whom I just spoke to a few minutes ago, a separate MSc list is not on the horizon. PhD interviews would have to be concluded before a list (which would consist of MSc and PhD scholars) would be published. They promised to revert to all candidates "soon." My conclusion: If interviews aren't held by the end of this month, anyone who doesn't already hold/hasn't applied for an admission offer by Aug should set their eyes to resuming next year if they are awarded a scholarship.

More or less like there is no award this year?

I said it already that many of us will resume this year until next year due to time factor and the pandemic. Some European schools have January, 2021 section or window for those who will not meet in September 2020.

God will make my name be among the successful ones. Next year is not a bad idea as for one secured the Scholarship.

It's like u don't knw ptdf, they can release the list in September and fix u in their partner schools that same September. Infact, they can call u for orientation and fly u from that orientation to the UK.
