yeah solanke rather, I'm happy for the guy, to be honest... I know what scoring a goal does to a strikers confidence... More from the guy, at all at all him dey bear naija name... Original Yoruba surname for that matter... So make he do well...

But on a serious note I will like to know how the guy keeps getting shirt at Bournemouth, you know he doesn't score much, is it that he perform well in training or he is simply playing to the coaches instructions or Bournemouth people are doing "we die here" like we can't bench 20 Milla, just curious...

I've known Solanke for sometime and even in Liverpool he was not highly rated.

Buy somehow was sold to Bournemouth for £19 million even the coaches at Liverpool were surprised.

Great football business for Liverpool a player they bought for peanuts.

Tell Daniel your guy ,I just Dey look am we he is just deceiving him self

Well, he had his "genius" moments even at Liverpool I won't lie. But for today... That guy is a complete dummy!!! angry

His bias will be the end of him.

Some things never change..

Rodgers has always been poor when it comes to things like players selection and substitution..

He was only a genius for one season at Liverpool.. After that,he totally ran out of ideas..

He is a genius. His sentiments just holds him back from doing great things. When it comes to coaching, tactical drills, impacting knowledge of the game in players, developing players, he is a genius. A bright one.

I think you mean his offensive style is genius like..

That's the only aspect of his game that are always on point..

I wonder why you are so invested in this issue..

Your club has gone to Asia to beg Xavi to come back and coach them, and you have no problem with that..
Somehow, you have a problem with an ex Liverpool player coming back to coach the club..

For the simple reason that he is an Englishman..

He has done wonders with Soyuncu and definitely improved Ndidi. They have a good defensive record this season.

Napoli is playing now vs AC Milan. They better beat Milan if they want my boy, Victor to say that yes. Victor deserves a UCL team but starting off from the Europa league will still be okay. Napoli better bag that Europa spot.

For instance, Bruno Fernandes, now at Man Utd last played UCL Football in 2017/2018. That was even his first season in the UCL. Later dropped to the Europa that same season, played Europa again in 2018/2019 and this 2019/2020 still playing Europa with Man utd... But behold by 2020/2021 I expect he will be playing UCL Football again with Man Utd at age 26. Why?? Man Utd is on a resurgence and because Leicester no serious. Also, b'cos Rodgers was such a dummy today.

The point is... Even if Victor doesn't play UCL Football next season, he can work his way up with Napoli (if/when he says yes) in the league and in the Europa and bag UCL football in the season before the Mundial. He will only be 23 then.

I can bet heavily that Xavi will excel. I have been waiting for him to coach for years. I doubt Gérard has the tactical capability of Rodgers, let alone Klopp.

I'm a fan and Klopp has gotten me used to success...

And no way in hell should we allow one u proven kwe kwe coach spoil things....club legend or bot smiley

Roy Hodgson came in and messed up some of Bentitez good works at the club...
Now we have Klopp..

It seems like you started supporting Liverpool around the time Klopp came in...I have no problem with that of course, but normally, fans should get used to all sort of things ..both success and failure..

Man utd enjoyed many years of success under Ferguson but had to endure a lot of things after he left... Arsenal fans are in that position too.
Real Madrid were in that position before..
AC Milan are in there too .
Barca looks like they may go that route too.

It's al normal..

Abeg Andy. To be honest, Chelsea is better compared to Leicester. They will be ready enough with Werner and Ziyech joining. So no qualms. As for Rodgers' Leicester, na Europa fit dem.

England's reps in the 2020/2021 UCL will be Liverpool, Man City, Manchester Utd and Chelsea. Provided the verdict favors Man City this Monday. If not, this annoying Rodgers' Leicester will be the fourth team. angry

I do not know how else to explain it. If playing time comes, good. If it does not, Nacho should continue grinding it out in training. Improving his quality, especially his work rate. If he continues improving, there will be a time he will get a fair run of games.

I am not saying playing time is not part of development but it is a small part of it. The main part of it happens behind the scenes and if Nacho pays attention, he will improve.

https://www.nairaland.com/3018619/super-eagles-thread-dawn-new/5554#76226974

I just had to bring this post back for people to understand my expectation for Rodgers. I knew there was a big chance for his bias to affect Nacho's playing time. I just hoped a bit of fairness. However, it seems he is bent on his bias route. Embarrassed himself today. Thought he has set up the stage for another Vardy show.

My advice to Nacho's managers. Hit Real Betis Big time. Secure a loan for Nacho to Betis if Pellegrini will want to take him. Even if it means a reduction in pay.

Xavi changed football. He helped us to build, or to see, a new player profile that ended up running through all levels of the national team. He killed off the myth of physicality being above all else and opened people’s eyes to the qualities of small, technical players, proving that you can attack and also defend with the ball

Pep Guardiola saw a 15 year old played in la Masia and he told the then 18 years old xavi that just joined the Barca's senior team.. “You will retire me, but this young lad will retire us both

And that was none other but Andreas Iniesta.

LeicesterMercury's take:

Kelechi Iheanacho: Made great runs to disrupt the Bournemouth backline and looked dangerous throughout the first half. He worked back well too and got stuck in. Unfortunate to be substituted. 7

Jamie Vardy: Showed his striker’s instinct to scramble in the opener, while he threatened with his pace and directness, and would have had a second if not for Ake’s block. Anonymous in the second half. 6

Wilfred Ndidi: Gave it away and won it back at an alarming rate in the first half, but was bypassed in the second as City imploded. They needed him to take charge and halt the collapse. 5

Napoli have nothing to play for here except bragging rights, finishing spot (they can't catch fourth) and team morale.
They won the Coppa Italia which gives them a guaranteed Europa League spot.

TheNational's take:

Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld - 5: One delightful backheel in the first half suggested the winger was in for a bright game. Sadly that was as good as it got as he was hooked at half time. EPA

Dominic Solanke - 8: The striker tripled his Premier League goal tally with a superb second-half double to breath life into Bournemouth's survival bid.

Philip Billing (on for Gosling, 45') - 7: Calm on the ball and covered plenty of ground.
