Under16: Pumpkin leaves still tastes kind of hard. If I don't see cocoyam leaves, I don't make the dish. My mum always wrapped in the inside of the leaves, not outside. That's how I learnt it. Mariangeles: Yes, traditionally you use cocoyam leaves to wrap. In its absence, ugu or green can suffice. The leaves are eaten na, people dey chop garden egg leaves too. Water yam and cocoyam. More of the cocoyam I was told/taught. 2 Likes |
