TheGoodJoe: I dont know but home grown nigerian/african players dont understand the european transfer market and how it can boist their career. They just go anywhere Pellegrini will most likely sign him as he was his former coach. BUT home grown players are poorly managed. Isaac success should have gone vack to la liga long ago 1 Like 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe I really do admire your theoretical tactical ingenuity, but I can't quite fathom why you haven't really considered venturing into football management. If tactics were easily construed as you drop them here, though with references to their original initiators, then, the likes of Guardiola would be winning games every other week. Nonetheless, you might make a good manager(tactician) and I suggest you start from any of the academies over there in PH, then NNL club through the NPFL. 8 Likes 1 Share |

I know what it is to win just 3 home games all season.....don't tell me about loyalty. You're preaching to the choir. You like acting like you're the only loyal Liverpool fan around when others don't share your views. How am I sure you didn't even supporting Liverpool two years ago... |

ChrisKels: Iheanacho's problem is bad first touch, a very common problem for forwards because they play higher up the pitch where they are mostly crowded out. In fact, of the top 20 players with bad control, all of them are forwards. Iheanacho, who is 14th, is in good company with Raul Jiminez, Salah, Sadio, Kane and Martial in the top 20. In the Eibar game where Messi scored 4 goals, he made the most unsuccessful first touch of any player. Losing possession is only a bad thing when you have done nothing the other time you had possession. Iheanacho had 2 shots on target in 45 mins, the other 12 players that featured for Leicester, not counting the goalie, had 3 combined in the whole 90 mins. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Fourth spot is way out of their reach. The confirmed Top 4 will be Juve, Atalanta, Inter and Lazio in no particular order (ofcos I expect Juve will be Champs eventually). Coppa Italia title has taken them into the Europa? But 5th and 6th in Serie A are also guaranteed Europa spots. Didn't even think of the Coppa Italia title. Napoli playing 2-2 now anyway. Milan had a penalty. They create chances aplenty and attack so well. Finishing up chances is their bane. I admit they have been so good and consistent since the restart. Their only blip was the loss to Atalanta and even that game saw them lose b'cos they couldn't take their numerous chances. Plus Atalanta are ruthless with their own chances. TheLoneCitizen: 1 Like |

Danielnino00: In that list, how many controlled the game tactically and I do not count Van Basten a failure. I don't know why he did not continue but his Dutch Euro side was one of the best I ever watched. Abramovic made a big mistake turning him down. At the end, it is not about great technical talent but tactical knowhow. |

Just finished watching the final 45 of Zaragoza and Real Oviedo and mehn what a game. James Igbekeme is injured so he was not listed for the game. The English Championship isn't the only super competitive second tier in Europe. The Spanish Segunda got it also including some entertainment and highly technically proficient football. Igbekeme's Zaragoza lost 4-2 at home to a side battling to stay above relegation waters. The other day, Nwakali's Huesca fell to last placed Racing Santander. Such is the competitiveness and excitement of the Segunda. This means with two games to go, Nwakali's Huesca still sit in 2nd place (one of the two automatic promotion spots). Cadiz in 1st has already confirmed their automatic promotion to La Liga. Question is who joins them next in the other automatic slot and through the playoffs slot. Zaragoza go away to Albacete in their next game. Huesca hosts Numancia next. Almeria has a game in hand and will play Rayo Vallecano Monday. Time will tell if Nwakali's Huesca hangs on to grab the other automatic slot. After the 2nd place slot is sorted, the playoffs between 3rd to 6th will take place to reveal the third team that will be promoted. Hopefully, Igbekeme's Zaragoza makes it through the playoffs coz I don't see how they will grab the second automatic slot anymore. But yeah... In time we will know for sure. 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Napoli had two disallowed goals against Atalanta so it was an unfortunate result. My awe at this team is the way they still performing without their star striker, Milik. This team will comfortably defeat any team in the EPL except Manchester City. Yet Osimhen wants to toss such guaranteed opportunity of scoring 20+ goals every year to go play with Mustafi and David Luiz. Man! |
