corenewsonline: Shhh... If you can reopen markets where people crowd around without precautions all day long, then you can damn well reopen schools where it is a lot easier and effective to take precautions... We should quit deceiving and fooling ourselves in this third world nation... NCDC should give up this charade! Most nations have moved on. |

Hoelujohn: Try and be more intelligent... Don't be misled like sheep. If Markets that are crowded with no health and safety precautions did not inflate figures, how can a far better controlled and protected environment like schools do any worse??!... You ought to be able to see through this propaganda!!! |

Perfecttouchade: You really need to stop comparing America/Americans to Nigeria... The analogy is poor and unintelligent!!! Nigeria's situation is no where close to or as bad as what America has experienced, and still experiencing. On this issue, if you can't ban or permanently close down markets and banks (The crowding is laughable), then keeping schools closed as a means to checkmate viral spread, is beyond stupid and hypocritical... Most of those same kids still go to markets, churches, banks, etc... Schools can be effectively run with better precautions than what we all see in banks, markets, etc. |

iamyemiakins: The government are doing their best in your house bah ? In some states now, with the very bad Nigerian economy, the only people who are still able to erect duplex are government officials. Corona that they could not share ordinary palliatives of N5,000, they will be telling bare faced lies that they are feeding your school children with N650m everyday when your children are with you on lockdown. |

iamyemiakins:What Nigerians should know is that this govt doesn’t have the capacity to face what US is facing. We all know the effects of closing down schools but we can’t compare the effects of students getting infected. |
