This was meant to be the Friday my goods that I've been posted for quite a while should have landed. No response or feedback from him with over 375k of my starting capital lost, which made me go off grid and even going to my family's house to regain my feet. Although I have settled with all parties, my intentions was to vindicate myself today before everyone that judged me.

I made my business abstruse, i let anxiousness of losing most of my capital (which I eventually did) insidiously infiltrate my thoughts, which shld have never gotten to this extent if I never went off grid.

But going forward so as not to retrograde, I do hereby wish everyone well, and also appreciate those who were dialectic about this issue and reached out to me. I know truthfully from my heart, I did everything to make things work out. But with peace and love, I wish everyone well. And I hope we all make peace in the future, and whoever that may have grievance towards me, I hope we do make peace, because it's all that matters.

So i contacted a NL by the handle Emmafe who i wouldnt have loved to mention his name / handle as i am still under the believe his joking with me but customer is becoming inpatient. On Saturday at exactly 530pm a client called me... This is a client that happens to be a NLander. However she saw that i had just sold an iPhone 8 Plus 256gb for 165k. So i told her item is out of stock. She said she would personally want me to source for the item i said well... I am a busy man but i can try. I got one from this my brother which he said the deal belongs to someone elses well not my business as long as item is in good condition as i know lots of us that hustle this way. I sent 160,000 at exactly 632pm Saturday so as to secure deals as i hate it when people tell me to keep deals for them... I dont listen to that. I was playing with my kids Sunday afternoon, customer called me to ask what is / was the color of the phone then i said women don come again!! But i sent the photos to you she said OHH she had forgotten but she doesnt like black. OK she said her B.F doesnt want black. I said OK no wahala. I will have to refund you. I contacted our oga that customer said she doesnt want black anymore... She wants a refund. Like joke like joke baba said he wont refund because his a third party. For those that knows me, i tend to play when on Whatsapp but when you are frustrating me, i get defensive. Well, Na my story be this make una be the judge. I dont think this should even get here at all but i just come day reason am che small boy when no reach me go come day use me play ni. Customers 160k is with you and you feel really comfortable to hold on to the money.

Good day house. For more than 3years I've been buying from Mcmayor to resell, he knows I'm a middleman(i don't own the deals i post). On Saturday i posted an iPhone 8+ 64gb for 165k on my WhatsApp status, a Nairalander owns the deal. Mayor saw it and ask who owns the deal, i ddnt reveal because i will be cut off. He priced 160k, paid and requested for more pics to send to his customer which i sent immediately. We discussed delivery Sunday morning and we conculded his buyer picks up at Omic's office Monday morning. Sunday evening he messaged again and told me his buyer ain't interested in the phone anymore because of the colour that i should refund. I message the seller, she said money has been used for another deal. I explained to mayor the development, he insisted on refund. I explained i don't own the deal, i can only refund if seller refunds me. I've been buying from Mayor for more than 3years there's no time i ask for refund based on reason within our agreement. Before i make payment to a seller I'm always detailed and transparent to my buyer to avoid issues like this. I don't joke with my peace of mind, i give all info to buyer before i seal a deal. Mayor later resulted to police threat and calling out on NL, i contacted few reputable people on this section to calm myself. The seller and I have bn advertising the phone, once it's sold refund will be made. Thanks

I'm surprised at the people saying refund refund refund. Emmafe has done the best and most honorable thing despite the police threat and all.

1. Now lets look at the facts of the case, Emmafe sent pictures of item to the complainant which he admitted he sent to his female client as of the time the deal was finalized.

2. Remember Emmafe told complainant he's getting the deal from a 3rd party and from the conversation shared the complainant was more interested in the physical condition of the phone and color wasnt an issue.

3. Complainant confirmed that he sent pictures he received from Emmafe to his client on the day he made payment.

4. Payment was sealed on Saturday.

5. On Sunday, complainant and client wanted to back out of the deal by asking for a refund based on color.

Guys, dont let us attach sentiments to the issue on ground, the only situation that should have warranted a refund would have been defect on the phone. In this case, phone is in perfect working condition.

You cannot buy a phone in any market and return it saying when you got home someone didnt like the color, no one would collect it from you unless you have a very close/personal relationship. People do buy items from me and tell me i'm getting this item for another buyer if he/she doesnt like it, can i return it and you refund me? For people i trust i agree, for others i say no. In this case, complainant never asked Emmafe if he can return the item incase his client doesnt like it

Emmafe didnt even say complainant wouldnt be refunded oooooo, he only said he would be refunded once the phone is sold, to me thats a perfect gentleman and complainant should thank him for a kind gesture.

PS: Complainant should apologize to Emmafe with immediate effect.

Honestly those who know me well know i detest refunding once you and i are very clear upon item to be purchased.

Ideally refunds should be made when item isnt as described or agreed.

Some are small entrepreneurs here and cannot afford such unexpected refunds. Money would have been used up by seller immediately after sales has been made.

This is my sincere expression on this matter not conclusion, we should always inform our clients about such things.

However, we need to hear from Emmafe.

Seller advertised a black Phone. Sent pictures before and after payment.

If Phone had hidden issues, the case would have been different.
Let's also remember he's a reseller(dropshipping) who doesn't have a shop or sells phone he imports.

Trying to appease our buyers at the expense of other sellers for a mistake they made is wrong.

This case is even a funny one.
