We have about 10,000 kilometers of inland waterways in Nigeria that passes through 26 States of the Federation. But it is about 3,000 that is navigable. It is part of our response to make sure that more of these water ways are navigable all year round. ~ Chief. George Moghalu. If we take advantage of our water ways, a good percentage of the goods that come to our ports can get to the interland through our waterways.
