You can do short time in a guest house but you can't do short time in some hotels. Guest house dey cheap pass hotels. Hotels dey fine pass guest house. For hotels, the oloshos wey dey there dey collect like 5K but for guest house na 1K dem dey collect

Guest house is a less busy n quiet place where ppl can get rooms n live comfortably 4 days, while hotels are multipurpose facilities for lodging, conference etc

guest house is more like a boys quarter. a low key place for camping. it's much more cheaper. some of them do short time and even keep prostitute's.

but hotel is much more. other both have been miss used and named wrongly.
