The plot to remove Gov Hope Uzodinma is no longer a rumour. Strong forces have for months, been making plans on how to unseat the Imo State Governor, the same way he removed Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

The move to sack Gov Hope Uzodinma is not just coming through the court, there are also moves to remove him through the State Assembly, even though, to an extent, Uzodinma is getting a grip on the Assembly members, especially those in APC.

But the battle in the StateAssembly is not yet won. Reliably information has it that the plot to remove Speaker Collins Chiji, is still in play, and with him out of the way, Uzodinma would be next.

For the time being, Uche Nwosu is turning his attention to legal means, to remove Uzodinma from Douglas House.

By the ruling of the Supreme Court, Uche Nwosu is the candidate of both the APC and the AA in Imo State, during the 2019 General Elections.

With that verdict, Hope Uzodinma ultimately has no party, and the votes gandered by the APC in the last election, belongs to Uche Nwosu, not Hope Uzodinma.

The new twist to the drama is coming, with the AA declaring that Uche Nwosu was not elected in a primary, rather, was adopted by the party.

It is on record that President Muhammadu Buhari was adopted by many political parties, as their candidate, and any vote they got, was given to Buhari. Likewise, by the declaration by AA, Uche Nwosu is also entitled to the votes from AA, even though he wasn't elected as their candidate in a primary election.

If Uche Nwosu and the coalition working to unseat Hope Uzodinma succeeds, the embattled Govenror may not be returning to Omuma for a quiet retirement, rather, he may be faced with a lingering corruption matter over a contract in Rivers State, which the EFCC has been investigating, and for which he was slammed with a travel ban.

At the moment, Uzodinma's political backbone, Abba Kyari is dead, and Oshiomhole has been dismantled. There are indications, that Gov Hope Uzodinma may be seeking refuge and protection through Emeka Nwajiuba, a close confidant of President Muhammadu Buhari.

But pundits are of the view that, since Hope Uzodinma could not keep to his words to Okorocha and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, which earned him their support to remove Ihedioha, can he still keep to his words if Nwajiuba helps him now? By the next election in Imo State, Buhari would be out of Power, and Nwajiuba may not have any other bargaining chips then.

Uzodima is going nowhere. There is a court judgement which affirmed his candidacy and which has not been set aside.

Besides is this case being filed as what? Pre or post election matter? The answer to this question would help you know that Uzodinma is going no where cos the Supreme Court earlier described this case as a pre election matter?

So how will Uche Nwosu claim APC votes? Did APC give him party candidacy?
