Abuja is also benefiting from the FCT status. Maybe if you take some time and travel to see it, you will understand what I mean. Sites matter a lot. For someone who wants to invest in agriculture, why would he go to the south? He will pick northern Nigeria despite all the issues that you are trying so hard to emphasize. Likewise, an investor that is interested in natural gas or oil would head to the Niger delta without blinking.

Also, you have to look at the culture. It would be foolish to choose to sell pork, bible and alcohol in the north. So there is your answer. Mineral resources, culture, and location matter a lot, Mr Rilwayne!
