I made a tuition deposit of 4k pounds, but on the confirmation offer I received from the school is stating I paid 3975 pounds, a shortfall of 25pounds.

I dont know what could have led to the shortfall.

I initiated the form A in first bank and I have my telex copy/receipt for 4k pounds, I complained there, they are surprise too.

Whoelse has experience this, and how did you resolve it.

I did..When i complained, I found out that it was the recipient bank that removed the charges and I was advised that going forward, I should add 25pounds to any amount I want to deposit. I had to use my MasterCard to top it up.

One major issue that causes delay in CAS is our Nigerian banks taking too long to respond to the enquiry email sent to them by the schools. Some banks don't even respond to the email at all. So I think we should also try to find out banks that respond quickly and prepare for the process using those banks.

Why will schools send enquiry emails to banks, to enquire what, that the account is genuine or what, I don't know about your school but the schools I know of don't send anything, they just request for your statement of account and see if there are enough funds for at least 28 days, theyill issue your CAS

No you cannot because they will request your admission letter,degree certificate and passport data page. It must tally with the name in the account and BVN. You can hurriedly open an account with Stanbic IBTC. The rate for today dropped to 478.77 to a pounds sterling

Say that the main reason your dependant is coming is to help provide emotional support and encourage you to do your best in your study giving you a shoulder to lay on during challenging academic times. Also say, your dependant might also work casually to improve his/her skills and obtain UK experience.

And the questions that will be asked by the u.k visa consular are they going to be tough like the America students visa question?

Please use stanbic, they're rates are soo much better. I got a whooping 100k balance after paying 2.5m equivalent to 5000 GBP plus charges and all at 482 exchange rate . Imagine going to other banks charging as high as 501
