Good afternoon house. I applied for a visitors visa and got it in february to go for holiday. Its 6 months and expires in September. I rebooked my ticket for middle of next month (August) hoping the airport will be open by then but I am also wondering if it will be open by that time. Do you advise I start a new application process for renewal or just wait? I still want to travel this year. Also how many months before a visa expires can one apply for renewal? |

Hello guys, please if there is a slight error in ones name on their certificate , for instance name on certificate is ganiyat and all other documents carry ganiat, eg international passport and waec etc, can this pose a problem with visa application? And if so what’s the solution? Thanks |

Timmmy: Visit visa can’t be used for long term study. The visa categories are not the same at all. |

oyin000000:U can just wait since the visa hasn’t expired and see what the Nigerian airspace holds for you between now and September that the visa is valid for. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by tolani4real: 2:09pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
oyin000000: Wait till August to see if airport will be opened for international travels. In case airport is not opened then start a new application immediately. You can renew anytime, it all depends on when you are planning to travel. For example - if you have a visa that will expire 5ft of october 2020 and you are planning to travel in october 15 then you can start your renewal now 1 Like |
