The last may not have been heard about fighting troops of the Nigerian Army resigning their appointments, after the 380 that dumped the service last week, citing loss of interest, as many more are alleged to have indicated their decisions to also exit, citing the same reason. https://www.independent.ng/more-soldiers-resign-over-intimidation-from-superiors-investigation/ 14 Likes 6 Shares

No right thinking person will want to serve in an army that now have profound love for terrorists-granting them amnesty & reintegrating them into the same country they have committed treason against including killing same army personnel with ruthless aggression. 394 Likes 23 Shares |

What these Northerners are doing in the Army is very risky. If we can't defend ourselves against threat within the state, what happens when we face external threat or international armed conflict? If nothing is done on time, this country is as good as gone. Remove the islamic/arabic inscriptions from the Army logo and put Nigeria colours to show a multi-religious nation. Insurgency is like cancer, it grows steadily until it kills the afflicted. Our Aboki friends up there should take note. While some of you are cashing out, your future and that of your kids is uncertain. 23 Likes 1 Share |

nothing would've made them quit the army if they're truly passionate about the job. Real soldiers don't quit. This can only happen in a country where unemployment, instead of passion, pushed young men into military career. I'm not saying the allegations they made against their superiors and high rank military officers are false, but a real soldier wouldn't have quit. His passion for the job would've overridden those challenges. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

“The problem with the military is that the soldiers realised that they have been sacrificing for nothing, the military does not care, the system has failed .” The system didn't fail today. Our foundation wasn't laid well. In the first World War, nigerian colonial policemen were conscripted to join the "King African Rifles" command with the British front. They complained cos they were being used as porters and also realised that they were sacrificing for nothing. They rebelled and we're hanged for mutiny. I honestly do not know how a sane person will still be serving in the military of this Nigeria, suffering in the Bush, camp and Aganist terrorist groups that are financed by the same government that they claim to serve. The leaders are cropping billions in dollars daily into private accounts and you are still sane enough to serve the same country. You better go and find better work that will add value to your life. 53 Likes 7 Shares |

Good for them. They will be replaced. The courts don't even have any jurisdiction over the military to handle cases of corruption, intimidation and sexual harassment. There's no such thing as accountability in this government. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
