Brothers and Sisters, I need your assistance on choosing my NOC. I have chosen ADMIN ASSISTANT 1241. I want to confirm whether or not this NOC goes well with my job duties.

Kindly assist me.

The following are my duties;

DUTIES:
This JD isn't a bad fit for 1241...I think....but it doesn't have some of the basic admin things in 1241 like...... organising travel, visitors, filling, scheduling meetings, meeting minutes etc.

I think if you do these activities then consider asking your employer to include them.

It's crazy to be honest. You hate satire or funny responses and stuff..and your job is to suppress folks who do it. How is that democracy or civilization?

People must ask baby questions, people must not want to go to page one, some people ignore their questions .. excellent people. Some others ask them to go to page one or previous pages sef...they get annoyed. Some answer the repeated questions..god bless you. It is weird how someone is comfortable forcing you to research for them.

We know say some old hands don run as a result oh.

You don't pay anyone, you are not helping anyone by migrating at least not on this forum, so ...beggars are choosers now?

They get all the strength for attack only once answers are not what they expected.

Their backers who never helped them with the basic questions, jump out in their defense and crawl back in after.

This cycle will go on and on.

Lool normal thing, na their long uncovered way of operation. nothing changes here. We Move, man.

Kindly help me out.

I am married but want to get my Passport with my Maiden name. Does that mean i cant claim to be married as marital status on my datapage?? I have my National ID in My Husband's name but we are in the process of getting a divorce and i need to write my IELTS exam as soon as possible.

I know married people use their father's names on their passport in other countries, i am just wondering why our case is different in Nigeria.........

Nothing wrong with getting the PP in your maiden name. Even if you will remain married you'd just provide marriage certificate showing proof of marriage. Your PP or ECA being in your maiden name doesn't harm you. You can even explain if you wish to go far . But Why don't you wait for the divorce proceedings to be over so you can comfortably apply as divorced and attach the court documents? That way, none of these will bother you.

Good day guys, I want to register for the BCS Certification, do I register for the 'Certificate in IT' or the 'Diploma in IT' to get the extra points for two or more diplomas?

@abiodunn and @mamaroon,

Thanks so much for your quick responses. May God answer all your prayers without leaving any behind. She just made me know that she had 3 years experience in the health sector before joining the banking industry. Attached is her job role for her medical experience. Help us decipher it so as not to go wrong with her application.

Thanks in anticipation

Maybe 1243?

Again remember the rule (majority of the NOC responsibilities should be found in the JD) see if there is anything in the NOC that she actually does that is not currently in the JD...ask employer to include.

Your calculation is definitely wrong. At 28, with Masters, 1 year experience and 8888 IELTS your CRS score should be 453.
To advise you,you can do one or more of the following;

1. Get a job and work for further 2 years
2.. Learn French and ace TEF
3. Get married to someone with Masters, 3 years work experience who can MAX IELTS
4. Apply and/or hope to get provincial nominations (uncertain)

There are several other options, like going through the study route, exploring other programmes etc.
All you need to do is research, research, research then develop an action plan and stick to it.
I'd advise you to start from page 1 of this thread and read up.
All the best!

I sent you a PM sir

Hello guys please I need some little explaination. I created my Express entry profile yesterday. Before submitting I saw some question like will I permit Ontario and British Columbia to access my details. Please why only the two provinces because I selected all provinces as my preference
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by muvey10: 6:12pm On Jul 18, 2020
I think it’s because they pick from the pool and you don’t express interest like the other provinces

2. Analysis of clients financial records to help develop proper pension retirement plan.

3. Monitoring of clients ledger entries on the pension administrative system to ensure it's accuracy, growth and quality.

4. Review irregularities in remittances and resolve unprocessed pension payment issues daily.

5. Exception management and reporting (RMAS and Ad-Hoc).

6. Transfer and refund of all unprocessed pension remittances meant for other PFAs(Pension Fund Administrators) or Employers.

Which role under 1114?

If Financial Adviser, do you also set goals and develop strategy as described in 1114? If so, pls ask employer to include.

Some things in the JD may need to be explained in more detail e.g. 5 and 7, I think, acronyms e.g. RMAS don't help as non industry peeps cannot understand.

Hi @Mamaroon, i am confused on a NOC to choose that's why i asked, since it's a F.I (pension firm)... kindly advice, pls.

RMAS(Risk Management and Analysis system) report.
PFA(Pension Fund Administrator).

It looks like the closest match. I'm just advising that if you look at the NOC and there are things that you do which are not captured in your JD, you may want to ask your employer to please include e.g. the NOC has setting goals and developing strategy. Expanding the acronyms is for VOs benefit, you may want to do that in the JD itself.

If I were a VO, I would be wondering what exception management means that's why I suggest expanding 5 and 7 so someone who is not conversant with PFAs but who is otherwise literate can understand.

I'll never say "yes definitely go ahead with X"...I'm chicken like that, sorry grin

different provinces have data access laws. British Columbia doesn't even chose from the pool. So its nothing to worry about. You need job offer of be an ex student in the province for bc pnp.

Make una dey quote where this thing is written. So that everyone will read and not be misguided. Anybody with close-marking DOB should be gathering their documents now before a possible ITA and submit before birthday comes and/or English or French test you are claiming points from expires. Be on the safe side, no strength to dig where it is on IRCC site.

Who is misguiding who...una go just run mouth..
The information is written on your ITA letter from IRCC..until you get ITA..you are not in a position to see where it is explicitly stated. They would usually indicate conditions as regards your situation changing after you receive ITA..age..marital status..etc..for which you should inform them and which you shouldnt bother like age changing post ITA.

I appreciate your kind response, apparently...i'd be filing in for my new man to be after completing the divorce process with the former, hence, my aim to make do with my maiden name in applying for the PP, i'll then have myself another PP re-issuance once i get married to the latter. I hope i'm in order ?
Thanks.

Mehn...thats what happens when illiterates rule the literate. I gave up on Naija donkey years ago

The over reliant on crude is what is killing us... And recently, CBN kinda devalued the naira without really communicating it or admitting it.. Can u imagine!!! Y Economist would say devaluation is good cos with a weakened currency, it will help boost exportation, reduce trade deficit and might kinda help our interest payment for d igbese we have with IMF and d likes... The idea for d decision is just messed up especially at these times of COVID cos of inflation.

With the drama that comes with inflation, how poor man wan survive? World leaders are putting in efforts to help citizens survive the hard times...our own govt is busy devaluing the currency. It's just sad we are where we are.

My everyday prayer is that this PR journey we are all embarking becomes a success cos there isn't any future in this space called Naija!

It will end in praise!
Devaluation only works in your advantage when you have things to export e.g. China, but the Nigeria copy and paste government thinks devaluation would boost exports. Besides crude oil (and immigrants), what is Nigeria exporting?
