My device RN7 dropped from a height and landed on a concrete floor, the screen guard shattered and it affected the screen too. No touch issues at all, anyway, I changed the screen guard and now I can see visible yellow tint building around the cracks. Who knows how I can minimise this, I cannot afford a screen replacement at the moment.

Sighs , a friend suggested that I remove the screen protector prior to when I replace it, reason being that it will exert more pressure on the already cracked screen.
