I drive a 2005 Toyota Matrix and I am pleased to report that I have finally achieved the advertised Fuel Mileage for the Car.

Picture 2 - Fuel Mileage gotten with Car Scanner after driving over 50km.

Picture 3 - L/km conversion to mpg.

This was achieved after some tune up and proper maintenance with the required fluids.

For the fluids, I use Valvoline full synthetic 5w 40. This is because of the high mileage and for higher speeds.

I also use Original NGK iridium plugs.

I also buy fuel at only Bovas. grin

Even those in US won't get the advertised fuel economy cos fuel used by manufacturers are totally pure.
On the average, you can get 15% worse off than the advertised rate

I'm never close to the advertised MPG but God keep providing fuel money.

Not at all. The advertised MPG for my car is 32 Highway drive. Toyota Camry XLE 2010.

I only get around 19 - 25MPG.

A full tank takes me 2-3 weeks. I don't drive that much.

I've serviced it only once, the mechanic used a wrong oil. I'll get a better oil next time and see if the MPG improved.
