That is for home students, foreign students can't study part time only if you are doing online course

Hi Goddys,
I think the gurus have given you the answers needed, it all depends on you, if it's clear for you, please grab this opportunity and move out to UK, as you said it's better than being jobless I'm sure with care and moderate life style you can pay back that loan and move on, it's an excellent opportunity so please don't missed it.

But can someone get a visa with online learning part time.

Does admission letter specify the nature of the programme for immigration purposes?

I like to explore things objectively and not just go ahead because someone succeeded. what do you think

okay thanks. I will make further enquiry to see if one can convert to online learning when one gets into the school on-campus programme. If possible to convert, I will apply for on-campus and then convert to online learning so long it won't affect PSW
Thank you

Save yourself the energy, look for an affordable university and apply for a full time, on-campus course that would offer you a chance of getting a job after graduation. I hope your intention is not to study online so that you can work more than 20hrs a week?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 9:43am On Jul 20, 2020
If you switch to another visa, it's a good plan but if not, exceeding the time limit on your visa will get you in trouble and colour your future visa applications because you'd need to state that you overstayed your leave at a point.
If you're not interested in switching courses or changing your intentions on an expired PSW, you might need to rethink your options.
Goddys:

Thank you very much for your deep analysis. Please does it worth it staying back after PSW has expired just to earn some money, repay the loan and relocate to another country cuz I'm 100% certain that my course of study cannot get me a job in UK. So my primary intention is to leave the country through that means since I'm presently earning nothing here.

Please kindly advise

You are setting yourself up for a massive disappointment..though i have to give you credit for asking these questions now before you get your money involved in this project, i really hope you make an informed decision.

Don't risk it..do the right thing.

You know you can always switch career path, you mustn't go for the LLM program if you don't see a future in it. I have a senior colleague, her first degree was in Economics, she went to the UK to do her Masters in Psychology (conversion) after which she moved to Canada to obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, so you see nothing is cast in stone.

Dear Members,

I have been quietly following this thread for a long time and must agree there is no community like this! Respect to all who are contributing here!!!

My question is regarding the online Tier 4 visa application, We are applying from Germany, as we have residency here. My wife got the CAS and we are applying online for main applicant Tier4 visa and PBS dependents (Partner + 2 children).
I am facing a strange problem in the dependent application form when I go to pay the IHS fees, It asks for the main applicant visa expiry date. but as the main applicant also applying together-with, it's not possible to provide visa details. Please see the attached snapshot.

I even called up UKVI they told me to apply with an option "I am travelling alone" but when application portal redirects to IHS site, It does not provide this option.
I am using the below link to fill up the dependent application. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/apply-visa-type/dependant?_ga=2.263931272.548546765.1595158648-1946631795.1582626522

Please pardon me for any mistakes as I am posting for the first time on Nairaland.
Kind regards,
Yusuf

I have been meaning to ask. If after my course ( international business) I don’t get a tier 2 sponsor, and I then decided to do a short course, say for instance ( support work nhs standard) can I use the certificate to get a tier 2 sponsored job in the health sector?

The summary of my question is after my masters can I switch to any health related field with just a short course certification and still get sponsored.

@mimilyrics @justwise I won’t also mind your input.

Gurus, mimilyrics and my bosses in the house please I need your interpretation on the attached x tray result.
For me to be at a saver side against Monday that IOM asked me to come again, I went for chest x tray at Afriglobal to know my chest status. Thank God my first TB test at Afriglobal is negative. With Afriglobal comments on the x tray, can I ask IOM to redo x tray or I should go there with my results. Kindly help me out with advice nd more light on the comments..
Am trying to avoid 8weeks of waiting again.
Thank you

Please note that only IOM is accepted.

Do you have any health-related work experience? Why don't you apply for a course that will make it easier to get into health/social care? What kind of short course are you looking at? Most short courses that I know of are better suited for people with experience.
I don't think that just doing a short course in health care will help except you have relevant experience or if the course gives you any relevant work hours. If you can't get a job after your course on your own merits, I doubt that a short course would do that for you.
Read up on healthcare vacancies and see if you meet the requirements or can meet the requirements before you start applying to them after your course because Tier 2 sponsorship is competitive and you can't afford to go in blind.
You can volunteer with NHS and other healthcare organisations while studying in order to build up your work experience. You may also be lucky to get an employer who doesn't mind training you for the job but I'm not sure about employers would want to do that if they have access to a more diverse pool of options in T4 applicants.
You can also apply for the 2-year NHS graduate management program; you'll gain loads of experience on how the NHS works.

Please can some give directions on how to get to IOM Lagos from Ibadan. I have an appointment tomorrow with family.

Also, apart from our int'l passports and evidence of payment, what other things are we expected to bring along?

Are you driving or using public transport?
If you're driving, once you get into Lagos, go past Berger towards Motorways and take the turn that leads to Ojota. Drive straight on till you get to Maryland and turn right by the roundabout into Mobolaji Bank Anthony. Make a u-turn after the military barracks (around the virgin Atlantic office), take your next right turn into Adekunle Fajuyi and turn right to Isaac John street. IOM is on the left, keep looking out for it, it's easy to miss.

With public transport, board a bus that can get you to Ojota/Maryland or Berger from Ibadan. If you stop at Berger, get on a bus to Ojota/Maryland. Alight at Maryland, turn to the right of the roundabout and board a bike or Keke. If there are no bikes or Keke, you can take a cab to Isaac John. Tell the driver exactly where you're going.
You might be able to get on a bus to Iyana-Ipaja and its environs if the bus will go through Adekunle Fajuyi. You'll stop close to the 1st right turn on Adekunle Fajuyi and take a short stroll via the same 1st right turn to IOM.

Just your international passports and payment receipts are all you need.

Hey sis, I am very interested in this.. is it only for student graduate or anybody can apply?

Anyone with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and at least a 2.2 can apply but must have valid leave for the 2-year period. It's closed for this year though. Usually starts in Sept with applications closing around June of each year.

What specialised skills do you have? If you're doing a management course, you should have skills that can put you ahead of other candidates in the UK job market i.e Excel skills, Finance, Project Mgt, Business analytics, specialised software skills e.t.c.
For management courses, I'd advice you to go for those that will improve your numeracy and other highly sought skills like those listed above.

@Justwise @Duchess @Mimilyrics @Lalablink

Please I some answers because its a matter of some urgency.

Will it be a problem if the name in my bank account name is one name short from my International passport?.

Let me break it down.
The name on my bank account is the same on my documents including school credentials, both birth certificate.

But my international passport had an additional name(English). I did affidavit of fact and also newspaper publication of the additional name.

So I want to know if the discrepancy in my bank account name and international passport would be a problem during my visa application.

I tried contacting my bank in Nigeria to add the English name to my BVN but the process requires my presence

It shouldn't be an issue and since you have an affidavit, you're good to go.
