Niger delta

Also, 24.722 (gross statutory revenue) divided by 9 niger delta states = 2.747billion each

#3.744billion (exchange gain revenue) divided by 9 Niger delta states = 416million each.

States

115.434billion (gross statutory revenue) (40% = 0.4 * 115.434) = 46.174billion divided by 36 states = 1.2826billon each.

59.904billion (VAT)
40% = 23.9616 divided by 36 states = 0.6656million

Also, 10.436billion(exchange gain reserve)

40% = 4.1744 divided by 36 states = 0.115955555 billion each.

So can we say our state governments are rich?
They pay Salaries, let's say there are #2,000 workers in state governments #30,000 * #2,000 = 60millon.

apart from pensioners, and those collecting fat salaries, health workers, and they will do projects etc.

Tho i did not include some amounts like debts.
That's why each state should have its own IGR (Internal Generated Revenue) system... That's what many Nigerian State Governments lack... Only few states like Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, etc really generate high IGR that can sustain them with both Capital and Recurrent Expenditure.

God bless you sir, I always laugh when I see people shouting that Nigeria is rich, our statutory allocation for 2020 is almost the same if not lower than that of FBI (a branch of department of Justice).

We only seem and talk rich especially when we are blaming our leaders, the truth is, we really need to stop lying to ourselves.

The price of crude oil was $70 when Okonjo, Gej and the Pandemic Demonic Party were borrowing money to pay salary. Only God knows wetin for happen if na dem dey power during this pandemic period.

They made Nigerians to also believed that fuel scarcity can't be eradicated. Now filling stations are even doing promo in some states cos no more queue like the days of the Pandemic Demonic Party.

And finally Buhari is the only politician and presidential candidate that did his campaign without mentioning his opponent names and their political parties. He simply focused on his manifesto grin

That is what they are good for. Sharing money and returning at the end of the month to receive more for onward sharing.

What they are scrambling to share every year is less than the revenue that Facebook corporation generates annually.

should we blame whoever taught u maths for this mathematical blunder u just posted here? Akwa Ibom alone has more than 9,000 workers in the state employ and the pay isnt 30k flat. Am not defending these polithievecians but always ensure u put ur facts statistically correct to avoid creating public panic. I am above an entry level civil servant though but my take home barely last 3wks with my family bt wetin man go do. We suffer and smile hoping that one day things will change
