emmanuelewumi:Too bad! If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you because of their stupid entitlement mentality. Life is deep! 5 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: Sorry, just sharing my story, can inspire someone to look within. I keep saying what works for A cannot automatically work for B. I met this forum this way and I got inspired, I am only giving back up to the point of sharing my personal details and had to change my moniker as advised by people here, not because am scared of anybody. It's a duty to share as others shared for me to benefit. That's how our village conscience play out. We believe in God(deities) and must do good even without been monitored. Man know thyself and only choice what works or might work for you, never join the bandwagon, you are distinct. 14 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Boss, am inspired spiritually, read some books but not too many. 48 laws of power blended my thinking. I am an engineer and don't read much. I seek the face of God in all I do. All my mentees(kids I groom), I first give them 48 laws of power to read and get back to me before I speak. But if one sits back to look at life, it doesn't need much, we complicate life, life is easy and fun. Imagine me thinking of what my kids will become when I have not become anything yet. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Barrytone: I also have 48 laws of power in my library. A very good, which everybody needs to have. Definitely life is not a competition and no point using other people's yardstick to judge myself 10 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi:The annual rental income is 1.950.000 yearly. Units are bigger than most flats. And if I develop the land left at the back to 2units. It will give me additional rental income of 1.000.000 Total income will be 2.950.000. Conveniently, because tenants always stick to a place close to their workplaces and the property is close to all amenities. Such as, TV station, UCH Hospital, Secretariat, Banks, Custom office, Schools, Marketplace, Eateries, Nigeria brewery and the airport to mention few. I love the location because of all these and the tight security. I will develop the land to face the back Street and keep it if no one meets my asking price. Thanks for your advise! 6 Likes 1 Share |

I also prefer one of each as well. I am used to TBills as a very busy professional but the low rate is forcing me to diversify my investment portfolio. I am now pitching my tent with: Sukuk Bond Stanbic money market Stanbic mutual funds VGIF Land speculation Cash in Pounds I want to move my Stanbic mutual fund investment to stock and with monthly top-up of 250k on only one stock (thinking REIT) for another 12 months. The other alternative is a bank stock (thinking Zenith). I don't do jijo, rather for dividends and capital appreciation. @ Sholapey, which one stock are you into? @Emmanuelewumi @Abioilandgas @Barrytone Your views please, to dive in or not? What is your experience with REIT? Any risk of capital depreciation? Sholapey: 1 Like 1 Share |

Since I do not have #50,000,000 and above for now for FG bonds, I would need candid and profitable advice where to invest some money on hand right now - treasury bills due has been remitted, one more due next month. Fbn fixed income fund, how good is that? Thanks already. ~Concerned fellow |

qmd24: Oga boss, no rank me amongst the gurus, mbok. As at present, I do only tbills, hoping to do bond and learning it. Just tried my first calculations on secondary bond now and am not impressed after all. If you have a steady flow of income, don't risk your capital where you can't personally supervise, capital security should be placed ahead of interest at all points, just keep topping funds and you will get to a point low % won't hurt you. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

qmd24: Like any Investment in the capital market price fluctuates but on the long run it will appreciate as long as the business is growing. For REIT on the long run income will increase, a REIT that gave an income of N4 million about 9 years ago gave an income of N7.3 million in 2020. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sholapey: With 31m naira, I will get 1,937,500 units of Zenith bank @ #16/unit @#2.5 dividend (because of COVID), that gives #4,843,759 naira annually With dividend yield @15.6%, capital will be recovered in 6.5 years 11 Likes 1 Share |
