After sending an email to CIH, you submit your passport when VAC reopens. You will be contacted for passport collection when it's ready.

I need help please. Could someone please suggest a course and University to me for a second MSc in the UK. My first MSc in the UK was in Electrical Engineering and I applied for MSc in Building Service but LSBU denied me admission. I applied for Data Science, LSBU denied me admission again. Kindly give me brotherly suggestions/pieces of advice. Thanks. May God bless you.

telling me it won’t suffice that’s why I need other opinions, please help if you have another suggestion. Thanks

I remember seeing a response to your question on the UK student thread so I'm not sure why you're asking again. Is it that you didn't see the answer or it wasn't sufficient?

Everybody is in the same situation as you. Nobody has heard from CIH at least not in Nigerian. You are to take your passport to the VAC you submitted your previous application when they reopen i.e from week of July 27th bearing in mind they only work 3 days per week(Tuesdays, Wednesdays, thursdays). For confirmation check gov.uk website, it was updated today.

How true is this news?

Let’s wait and see if it’s true! Even if it is,i guess it will affect people with valid visas and new applicants can have an idea of an itinerary to fill on their application!

Airspace opening in Oct is not so long for new applicants,if Vac’s are still open then 2 month is not too much to submit/get your visa and prepare for your travel in Oct! IF they will open the airspace by Oct 15 as said!

What kind of site is this source. Obviously fake.
If Nigeria closes her airspace, other Africa country has open airspace. So one can use them. Maybe Ghana will even open soon.

You are too young to start dabbling into identity fraud, it will come back to bite you sooner or later

That's the only official solution you have except you want to go to each institution to change your name to match the name on your passport which can be time-consuming.

Thanks mimilyrics, I actually spoke to a lawyer today, he said it’s best to do Notary Public, it’s better than just doing an affidavit

Attestation of birth at the NPC now supersede the affidavit . You are good to go with that .

You can apply and state the bolded on your explanation page
Enick:
Good day.

I previously applied for a 6months UK visa in January last year. It was approved and I used it in October for just 10 days trip.

I intend to travel again in January 2021 and I want to apply for a 2 years visa instead of 6months.

It is a better idea to go for a 2years visa or stick with 6months for now? The sole reason for thinking of 2 years is to avoid another stress of the application process if need be to visit within 2 years.

Okay then. A notarized affidavit is good.

You are still going to swear an affidavit.

What the lawyer recommended is that you visit a Notary Public (a lawyer authorised take affidavits and certify documents, etc.) to swear your affidavit, and not a commissioner for Oaths (a court official) in a court. It's the same process, the only difference is the person who is going to stamp and sign it. And you will most likely pay more for the Notary Public's services.

You should have chosen self service so that you will upload your documents by yourself free of charge..
Assisted service you will have to pay #11700 and go with ur documents they will do the upload for you.

quote author=Dolorsa post=91847804]Please someone should help clarify if this is a free or paid appointment.

Pls, this self upload, would an applicant have to self upload at the centre or can they self upload at home? If yes, must it be before or after the Biometrics appointment or it does not matter? I am asking cos I want the applicant to scan and send their documents to me while I add mine as the sponsor and upload all once.
