On Bailly, the Norwegian added: “Of course, he was shaken up a bit. He had a big blow to his head. We're still monitoring him.
“He stayed down in London after the game for the checks. He is following the protocols that are needed, I don’t think he'll be ready for this game. I've not seen him this morning yet because these interviews are before the boys meet up."

That draw against Southampton still dey pain me.. a win against Westham tomorrow would have been enough for top 4 had we held on, fvck Soton...
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 11:49am On Jul 21, 2020
As for tomorrow's game against Westham, I'm afraid our midfield is tired and our depth offers no value right now, we might be overrun against a well rested Westham side. God help us shaa.

This man is obviously pissed.... You can sense anger/frustration from this words even if you were reading from a braille

handelex:
Pressed further on De Gea, he replied: "This is not going to become a David de Gea press conference. We have to stick together. We have two games left and we are focusing on them. David is strong enough to know his job is to perform in training the next day and be ready for the games.
"That is your job to talk and write about it. My job is to prepare the team for West Ham. That is what we are doing. We are just focusing on that. We are not going to talk about individuals. No-one here wants to feel we are putting more pressure on them."

Why I refrain from calling out De Gea or other players individually. We played shit, we have played shit in our last 3 games. Midfield has been very poor. Can't hold the ball, can't attack, just shit. No matter how good your defense is, if midfield collapses and the midfielders don't play as the 5th defender, the defense will collapse.

Struggle for one game, fine but when its 3 consecutive games, the coach needs to have a rethink of his strategy and tactics. He needs to look at the strength of the team and decide on what to play and who to play.

Surrender the fvcking midfield to chelshit, let them have it. Let them come out and hit them on the counter, they are vulnerable that way. OGS should be strategic

Looks like Luke Shaw's still sidelined and won't play against Westham, he'll be sorely missed ooo.... hope Williams gets his shit together and avoid a repeat of that woeful display at Wembley.

True. But we don’t have to play well to win a game. The quality is there.

The first error/goal set us back but the game was still winnable. The second error made it impossible.

It is all on De Gea.

Very. Mourinho won’t protect these players like OGS would.

OGS might have a plan to sell or replace you as a starter but he won’t hang you out to dry in public.

When Perreira and Lingardinho were playing rubbish regularly he didn’t castigate them in pressers. But once Bruno arrived, he started leaving them out of his matchday squad. Yet, he didn’t bash them in public or say their career has finished.

Na condition make crayfish bend. Once replacements land, water go find him level.

We need to play TFM tomorrow, he strong and sharp, Westham players go just bully Williams.

OGS should take his brain with him to OT tomorrow.

The journalists were trying to set him up and he knew what their intentions were. Although he’s pissed and angry, he still has enough sense left to do/say the right things.

We need to not lose that match to boost our chances of UCL qualification.

Hopefully West Ham attackers won’t be mobile enough. Sitting back and allowing us to play out from the back is our best bet.

That game was a calamity all round, it's hard to pick out any positive from that game, that's how bad it was. Worse is our players made it easy for those Chelshit players huffing and puffing around the field, we literally scored the four goals in that game. Dis-united display I tell you.

Exactly, Westham don't usually press high up the pitch and I hope Moyesy don't overload that midfield.

What did Bleep did I just read?

Una dey play football at all.
When we won against Crystal palace, you could visibly seen the players were worn out, just imagine if de gae had conceded that initial shot from Zaha. Trust me we would have lost or probably drawn that game.

Do you know how mentally weakening it is for your goal keeper to concede an easy goal or to make a blunder.

A clown is up there saying shiit.

Remember last season's match against Barcelona when he did same, you saw the pressure we started that match with and after De gea's error, did you see how mentally weakened the players became.

I repeat make una try small play football for real life, stop dey yarn dust you clown.

How can I unsee that comment from that clown, I don dey vex. angry

This is a solution to the high press problem. We don’t really need Matic in that situation. McTom will do. He can mark well, isn’t easily dispossessed or dribbled.

We just need De Gea to find an attacker with his long passes. And the attackers must be able to gain the second ball from De Gea’s passes.

That’s exactly what Lampard did. When we press them high, Caballero hoofs it to Giroud who has Mount and other teammates around him. From there they play a few passes and try to score. Maguire was deployed to stop Giroud but he was just committing fouls.

Sadly we don’t have any attacker who is dominant in the air. And De Gea can’t make those intelligent passes into spaces in midfield created by the high pressing of the opponent.

Rio Ferdinand insists Jan Oblak is the only goalkeeper capable of replacing David de Gea at Manchester United. Ferdinand told BT Sport: “He [De Gea] has had a bad spell, confidence is low, but does that mean you go out and get rid of him? Who are you gonna get? “Who is out there who is actually able to be bought right now and who is going to be a world-class goalkeeper right now at Manchester United?
‘The only one I see is [Jan] Oblak, but can you get him out of Atletico Madrid? And if you do how much are you going to have to spend?
“An obscene amount of money. I say stick with him [De Gea], he has earned that right to be stuck with.”
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 1:15pm On Jul 21, 2020
Ferdinand did admit he is “disappointed” as he has found it to be impossible to defend De Gea’s form right now. “When people make mistakes, they’re open to criticism. That’s just natural, that is just how football is,” Ferdinand added.
“David de Gea is no exception. He’s made mistakes, glaring mistakes in some big games, notably the game against Chelsea in the semi-final at Wembley.
“Yes, he should be doing better. I have played with David, he’s his own biggest critic. He’ll be sitting at home mulling over these, going through the situations and making sure that he tries to get rid of these mistakes that he is committing at the moment.
“I watched these games with my boys at home and I was flabbergasted to see them go past David because he’s a top-drawer goalkeeper."

Ferdinand concluded by saying: “It is disappointing really, as a Manchester United fan you want to defend your player but at the moment he is not in a position to be defended in that respect.”
