Nigeria is four times kenya - population wise - and yet Kenya tech industry is as big -if not bigger. Ghana don't appear on anything outside gold and such minerals.

Our country is very keen on attracting this kind of FDI.

You only FDI is oil, gold, aluminium and bauxite minning - whose multiplier is nearly zero.

The tech guys - uses their connection in silicon valley - to bring in million dollars - the money that they use to rent grade A office spaces, buy cars, rent 5k a month housing and employee a lot of kenya.

That is why Kenya is developing very fast without any minerals unlike nearly all the rest of the african countries.
