Now it is true Gabby J is probably faster than Nacho and that he is definitely more technically gifted than Nacho. I have no arguments against those b'cos they are true. Gabby J is definitely more skillful and has even better workrate infact.

But you see the bolded comments.... They are made out of stark ignorance and nonsense ramblings mixed with the dark acidity of your bias towards Homegrown Naija talents.

I am almost tempted to term them the dumbest comments I have read in the past 12 hours on this thread.

Put Gabby J in that Leicester team and he wouldn't even bench Vardy not to talk of scoring sef. Nacho at Man City had the best goals per mins ratio in the whole of Europe at one point in 2016 for the 2015/2016 season (his first professional season). Gabby J haven't managed that feat. So your talk of Gabby J in Leicester is crap and founded on nothing concrete.

Put a defender in front of Nacho and you will always get a backpass or side pass?? Really?? Is this what they are hailing you here for? This fallacious nonsense??

Now, watch this and tell me how many times he passed back when he was faced with a defender in the final third??

Infact go to 1:07 and tell me what you see Komekn... Nacho chickening out on taking on a man or Nacho actually sending that defender/midfielder into oblivion before sending an intelligently weighted pass into Vardy's path... Tell me what you see.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZwX8jsVvfk

Then this below is Nacho in the final third crowded by defenders in front of him... Did he pass back? Did he try to find Vardy or find support with a back pass? Nooooo... Lad took brilliant quick touches and buried the ball in the bloody net.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozJBwgUtPZU

And note this very carefully.... There are times in a game when a backpass or side pass is the best or better option at that time during gameplays. Passing backwards or sidewards have been proven to contribute to dragging an opponent's players out of their defensive shape in order to exploit pockets of spaces and create room for buildup to another attack or to quickly launch attacks against that opponent. It is not rocket science mister!!! Sometimes a back pass or side pass is more useful at some points during a game than a dribble that may lead to nothing.

You keep talking crap here about our Naija lads and your minions roll out the drums offering you drinks and sausages to stroke your ego. These "cocksuckers" of yours are really deceiving you for they know nothing themselves. Infact, I am pretty sure they have no idea what I just explained about the importance of backpasses or sidepasses even as simple as it is.

If anyone in here actually agrees with all (and not some of) what you said in that ill-informed and obviously bias-laden post of yours, then you all have really taken clownishness to the next level.

This is all of you below.... Clowns!!!! grin

I love you.. No caps.. Your contributions drew me to this thread

But here is a piece of advice, you need to water down the way you use insultive words while trying to proof a point.. No matter how biased a point might be, he has a right to his opinion..

I hope you take this advice in good faith

sometime you can't just help it. It is kinda nauseating how some people here like to denigrate Naija home grown players. They feel everything foreign is better than our own. Imagine komekn 5 naira post "put a defender in front of nacho and he will pass the ball backward or sideway".. I don't normally use insultive words to prove anything. I always use facts, figures, analyses, Stats, and if possible videos and pics to prove my points. You saw how I was having a discussing about Igbekeme yesterday and I was the one being insulted and labelled all kind of names but I ignored all that and focused on just making my points. It is when it became too much I had to describe what the fellow is really doing... Ranting like a mad dog. I only go hard on monikers who cannot control their language with me or those who make it a daily routine in here to always talk nonsense and half truths about our Naija born lads. So it is wrong and absolutely misleading to say I use insults to pass my points across. That needs to be corrected.

And "Clown" is not an insult. It may be harsh but it is no insult. It is a description of people who make you laugh for many funny reasons some of them being crazily absurd. grin
Like telling us that Nacho always passes backwards and sidewards with a defender in front of him or like telling us Osimhen won't make it into the Youth teams of Championship clubsides. Is that not Clownish?? Lol... It is Clownish to me and to a whole lot of people in here and out there. So it is what it is.

It is just me saying things as they are. And I won't stop doing that. Those guys are really clowns. It is just what it is sincerely speaking.

And thank you. I trust you are having a swell time here. Keep enjoying yourself. Gracias.

you are trying so hard to defend your self created opinions. If what you just posted is indeed true, tell me how he is able to meander his way through defender tackles when he is with the ball? You need to sit down, emancipate yourself from "komekn bias", and watch ball with clear mind then you'll be able to give balance analysis.

Oh so now... It has changed to "hardly." grin

So he actually does take on at all at all... Hahahahahahaha. The post from Komekn clearly said he always passes backwards or sidewards when faced with a defender. But various times this season alone we have seen him make mockery of that statement.

And is it every player that must dribble frequently?? You think every player thrives on dribbling alone?? Is that even Nacho's playing style/game style? It isn't, so why expect him to dribble a man all the bloody time?? Is he Chukwueze? Is he Adama Traore? Those are dribblers. That is their game... Dribbling. But it is not Nacho's game.

The point is Nacho has definitely beaten his markers at various times this season when the need called for it. He is not a player known for dribbling b'cos that is not his playing style. He is an incisive passer, goals scorer and creator and he does beat his man most times only when he has to. I dropped the videos to show examples. So it totally rubbishes all this talk of Nacho only passes back or sideways when in front of a marker or defender. Make una dey talk true abeg. Haba.

If indeed you dae watch ball as you claim, then you would know Nacho is no dribbler. It is just not his style of play. Simple.

And nothing like poor when he is able to do this at 1:07 in the clip below... and do such again when necessary to get forward with the ball. The right word should be "infrequent" b'cos He doesn't always do this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZwX8jsVvfk

Nacho has shown he can get past his markers but he just doesn't dribble as much b'cos it is not his style. He is not a dribbler-kind of forward. He much prefers to pick passes, makes runs into space to receive passes or crosses, get involved in link up plays, and uses his vision to create chances for his team mates. Finito.

Three English clubs have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bright Osayi-Samuel after discovering that the Nigerian-born winger has put the brakes on a proposed move to Belgian champions Club Brugge.

Football Insider says the Queens Park Rangers dazzler's transfer to Club Brugge has collapsed amid interest from Leicester City, Brighton & Hove and Fulham.

The Hoops gave the green light to Osayi-Samuel to travel to Belgium to undergo a medical but the Nigerian opted against heading to Bruges.

The 22-year-old is expected to be named in Queens Park Rangers' matchday squad in their final match of the 2019-2020 season at West Brom this evening, and will make a decision on his future at the end of the season.

Osayi-Samuel was left out of Rangers squad against Millwall on Saturday because a transfer to Club Brugge was on the cards.

He won two accolades at QPR's end of season awards; the Kiyan Prince Goal of the Season for his brilliant strike against Birmingham City and Daphne Biggs Supporters' Young Player of the Year award, which he retained having won it last season.

See people crying tears and blood because they are being corrected

Iheanacho scored 12 league Goals in 46 Games for Man City across two seasons 1346minutes, with his best season still the 15/16 season where he scored 8 goals in 753min

He has also scored 9 league goals in 70 Games for Leicester 2648minutes

Gabby has scored 13 league Goals in 33 Games for Man City this season 1936minutes

If saying Gabby is better than Nacho is what you guys are tagging a "denigrate of naija home grown players" then you lot are lost

He now has 5 goals and 3 assists in 9 league games. 1 goal for his new side on his debut and 4 Goals/3 assists for his former side BFC Daugavpils. What a way to accept your welcome. Lol

His new side, Rigas FS won 3-0 against Tukums away from home.

P.S: I didn't even think he was gonna play so soon for them. Lol

And I say yes, he doesn't take them on oftentimes b'cos he prefers the "passing" and "moving into spaces" option. This is why we have seen little of him in the dribbling department. He is no dribbling whizz but have indeed ONLY Occasionally pulled off a couple of dribbles that got him past his markers.....note ONLY Occasionally. He is a striker. And most times strikers don't requires much dribbling to get the job done.

Dribbling is simply not his playing style. He is no Chukwueze or Adama Traore or Jeremie Boga. Each player have their unique styles of play.

And yes... The pass and the skill before that were indeed sumptuous. He has been good this season. A huge step up from the struggles of the past two seasons especially.

Judging from your stat above , Gabby should be doing better than that considering the kind of team he played for and the creativity he enjoyed from dem Sterling, Silva and co.

first off, there is no professional football players that doesn't know how to dribble past opponent especially when they are attacking players. Dribbling is a basic skill. Some players rely on dribbling to get past their marker while some use movement/pace/positioning/one - two passes to get past their markers. You think say na everybody dey stand still to dribble defender like Jay Jay. Those days don pass. Nacho get poor dribbling ability Naim he fit play for man city. Like I said, get yourself emancipated from komekn bias and watch ball with sense.

Gracias.

If you say so

Keep being You

You are just deceiving your self because you are an arsenal fan

Your martinelli has done nothing in football to threaten Gabriel Jesus

In that same few years time you think they won’t discover new talent from those Brazil clubs abi

Make martinelli Dey there Dey sit down for bench

you are the one deceiving yourself Oga. And what has your Gabby done in football too? Even though the martinelli statement is pun intended, you should have seen where I wrote 'in few years time'

you nor dey watch Ball. Post Video of your so-called nacho poor dribbling ability. You go just open mouth dey yarn gibberish. Show us video.

'Kellycute the ball watcher'

You've got nothing to say. For the fact that you only need video to support your stance shows you no dae watch ball. Nacho no sabi dribble, it's a known fact.

I dae watch Nacho ball week in week out and that's where I deduce my conclusion.

If you wan watch video, go YouTube.

I'm thinking 20 is actually correct sef. So you might be right. I typed 20 initially for the post but I then changed it to 23. It was what I saw on Sofascore that confused me.

They put him at 23. So I went with the higher age. Lol

There are 21 Nigerian players in the Latvian Higher League.

All of them are 21 years of age or under, except:
Alampasu(23yrs), whose age is well documented, and;
Christian Pyagbara (24), who has been playing football for almost a decade.

Football Hustle.
