Good for them, but unfortunately it is likely gonna flop again. Why buy a faux-SUV Toyota when you have so many better options within the same price range even within Toyota family. You have the RAV4 wihich is the king of compact SUVs? The Venza doesn't really offer anything special to appeal to a specific consumer base.

The Acura is most likely to have more luxury and safety features as well as more pleasant and fun driving experience and powerful engine. While the Lexus would be more rugged and reliable especially on our Nigerian roads.

Personally I'd pick the Acura. Despite all the close competition it is still way cheaper due to worldwide higher demand for Lexus.

Venza issue:
- Steering rattle
- ABS issues especially 2009
- noisy interior material (too many plastics rubbing)
- leaking panoramic roof (factory fault)
- terrible traction control..
- very bad braking system (suicide mission)

From a previous venza user, go for RX... there is a reason Venza was discontinued..

Advantage.
RX is a quieter ride (engine, wind/tire noise) especially on highway.
- More comfortable seats/driving position (though can be subjective).
- Softer, more "luxurious" ride. The Venza can be harsh over certain bumps.

Venza is sleek,It carries a more luxurious interior than the lexus,it's horse power low engine sound is second to none,with a lot of cargo space.It's a jolly ride.

Op my honest opinion as a car dealer for years is that you should go for the Lexus rx350.
Reasons are:

That suv is a beast.

The front camera is about 13mega pixels for Good Selfies.

The internal memory is about 2 gig.

It runs on both ios and Android.
