The funniest thing is that years after the funeral the children will continue to pay the debts incurred.

Big men leave will for their children, while the average people leave bills for their children.

We need to correct this

yes ...this family is just middle class ....with a bill of 3.9m yet the sister are saying is not enough.....

When we can do this it will be easier to create generational wealth and give our children a good headstart

Yup
Indeed

Despite being an igbo man myself

I dont mind being buried in the vicinity i died

If that would put less strain on the kids.

As long as the burial was decent enough

Are they supporting him or just only him will bear the expenses? That bill is too much for a family that their heads are just a little above the water.

The sisters should add the rest.

The average African starts his struggling that will continue for a life time by over spending on his wedding, over spending or getting loans for his children birthdays, over spending and getting into debts for his parents funerals. So the cycle will go on and on.

What happens to living within your means, the Covid 19 has shown us that some of these ceremonies can be done with 50% or less of what we have been spending in the past

Depends, as usual different strokes for different folks.

I should not be a financial burden on others especially my children.

To me home is where my bread is buttered.

I know

I know a couple of them who were buried at Ikoyi vaults or so

And others buried in Atan cemetery

In many instances

People tongues were wagging

But at the end of the day

The children buried their parents

And heaven did not fall

Stop calling an honest person a coward please. This is why many people pretend to be happy for you when inside inside they are jealous. Because if they are honest with their feelings people will call them cowards.

You didn't get the picture of my msg. Also, being jealous of me then have the guts to tell me doesn't make you an honest person, you only Express what you have bottled up for long, such person is toxic to me. There is difference btwn jealousy and enviness and each can spur you up positively or negatively, depending on your approach.

Such figures should motivate a young person to start investing early instead of such a young person getting a new job and the first thing he/she does is to go and buy the latest Iphone and be taking pictures and posting on whatsapp status update.

Motivation is key, lately I've been viewing a lot properties in Lekki n my wife will say to me, but you don't have money to buy now, I told her, I'm just dreaming, at least it cost nothing to dream. Hoping to actualize that dream in 5 yrs time

Invest it in mutual fund. VGIF managed by Investment one (former GTBank Asset Management) recommended. Capital and returns of 7.5% guaranteed.
click the link on my signature to open account. You can also call/chat me with the number on my signature

Maybe I can assist. However it would be a Gmail or Yahoo mail account. Afterwards you can change the password.

What's the name of the company or your preference for the email address?

Something like: enyinneltd@gmail.com

Or if you want we can take it offline.

Cheers

If the company is Enyinne. Register Enyinne...com or dot com.ng or anyone you want
Then host the name with a registrar that support email forwarding.

With email forwarding, you give a customer abc @ Enyinne ... Com but you receive the content with Enyinne @ Yahoo/Gmail ... Com
