Lol.... You modified the comment. wink

Well, thank you for noticing but I believe I am not the only one who addresses him directly or engage him in a convo tackling some or most of his stance on our Naija lads. I think Chriskels does as well.

Anyway, I still stand by what I said on those in "real" need of "proper release" from his spell. grin

tglobal:
It appears komekn visits a few people here in their dreams grin. Calling anyone who shares a similar viewpoint with him an a** licker suggests that you think he has a special kind of a** that needs to be licked in the first place and herein lies the problem.

Throwing his name around for clout doesn't validate your view. It comes across like you are either irritated that he is here and can do nothing about it or you have an unhealthy obsession with him.

You people should learn to address him directly like TheSuperNerd does.

@komekn i beg you, please release these people from your bewitchment wink

Oga talk something else abeg. grin

The people under Komekn's spells are those who validate the absolutely false and rubbish talk of "Iheanacho would always pass backwards or sideways when in front of a defender" or that Gabby J will score loads for Leicester when Vardy is around.

I just used a video clip to debunk the nonsense about Nacho never beating a man.

So those who support such ignorance are the people in need of serious help. Or is it also possible you are among them? grin

This is what I am reading here

X: I believe Nacho is a very poor player, nacho is sh*t, nacho is bad.....
Y: You are under Komekn's spell

btw, just in case you thought this was about you....I have never seen you call anyone here an a**licker of komekn

If that is also your view as suggested by this post, ride on ... smiley

Y'all always say you want nacho to improve his game but let me burst your y'all bubble. Your hatred and bias agaisnt nacho won't even make it possible for you to see he has indeed improved this season. There was a time nacho was languishing in the wilderness of Leicester city, he couldn't even make match day squad. He was simply ostracized from the team and simply lost his confidence. There cometh a time in every man life where you go through the darkest hours of your life but your ability to bounce back is very crucial. Is it that y'all doesn't have eyes to see? Or y'all just want to keep using his past (wilderness) to judge him?. He gained back his confidence, he laced his boot, forgot about his wilderness past and hit the damn net with 10 goals, 4 assists, in 25 matches. Instead of y'all to judge him base on this season taking into cognizance of his past wilderness, shine your eyes to see an improvement but y'all allow that bitter soul komekn to keep forcing his negative agenda agaisnt nacho down y'all throat. He is simply waiting and hoping for Osimhen to have a bad career in Napoli so that he can drag him to the mud like he did when Osimhen was in germany. I'm out!!!

Yes, we want him to improve and I must confess, he has but we want more. I acknowledged that he has grown considering where he was last year or two.

Whether he wants Osimhen fail or prosper at Naples is none of my business. If he fail, he will be dragged and in the same vein, if he do great we will praise him. No two ways about about it

Nacho is NOT a dribbler. He is a striker. And Dribbling is simply not his game. No matter your attempt to talk him down it doesn't cancel the fact that he can infact dribble when he needs to dribble as seen from the clip here at especially at 1:07 from this season.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZwX8jsVvfk

You think I didn't notice how you refuse to comment on how beautiful that piece of skill was from Nacho? grin You only commended the pass and totally ignored the skill. That shows you have an agenda.

Listen, Dribbling is not much required for him as striker. Please answer me this... Does Tammy dribble as much?

Are we comparing Nacho and Abraham?

Stick to the topic and deviate not!

'You have an agenda' whatever it means. The pass in the video is very nice and I admit that. You didn't say much much about the pass because you are trying so hard to prove that he a great dribbler.

Since dribbling is not part of him I wonder why you are running around to prove that it is, isn't that funny?

no one is saying that player A is not better than player B but pulling some unrelated half truth stat to denigrate Player B is what people like Supernerd are complaining about.

you sef look am "Awaziem was a liability at the AFCON. a weak link that was turned in and out" till today no evidence backing up that statement.

"Iheanacho when faced with a defender passes back or sideways" how is that logical or true?

"Osimhen only good enough for championship sides" you expect somebody who said this to always be taken serious?

Even Gabby J hasn't done as well as he was hyped to be. you would think he was the second coming of Ronaldo de lima when he arrived initially. he's good and gets lots of goals but i bet if when you have KDB, D,Silva, Sane Sterling etc playing behind you your sef go dey score anyhow

Edopesin:
See people crying tears and blood because they are being corrected

Iheanacho scored 12 league Goals in 46 Games for Man City across two seasons 1346minutes, with his best season still the 15/16 season where he scored 8 goals in 753min

He has also scored 9 league goals in 70 Games for Leicester 2648minutes

Gabby has scored 13 league Goals in 33 Games for Man City this season 1936minutes

If saying Gabby is better than Nacho is what you guys are tagging a "denigrate of naija home grown players" then you lot are lost

We dey watch ball and iheanacho is no way better than Gabby

People here support any Nigerian player regardless of where they are born but you lot are blinded by prejudice that any criticism of a SE player is automatically hate and asides the frequent attention seeking/straight up hate to Ighalo that one particular moniker frequents, you cannot say anyone hates a player

Hian. The question is not for comparison at all. It is to show a point that some strikers hardly require Dribbling in their Arsenal. Or are you stylishly dodging my question? Lol

You know your answer will end this discussion once and for all. Tammy's playing style and role also don't require much dribbling. Nacho same thing. Lewandowski nko... How much does he dribble in a game? Not much. But can he dribble? Yes.

So that's just it.

And now you shifting the goalposts so hilariously. Who is trying to show that dribbling is part of his game? grin You are only deliberately refusing to acknowledge a simple fact. Nacho doesn't dribble much but he indeed knows how to dribble or get past his man when the need calls for it. He can beat a man with skill as seen from the clip I showed you but again, he doesn't dribble as much b'cos his role doesn't require much of that plus it is simply not his playing style.

It is funny how you want to drag Nacho for less dribbling when we hail the likes of Pippo Inzaghi of the 2000s for being such a world class goals scorer. Did Inzaghi do much dribbling too? Lol...

We do have strikers who has dribbling as part of their playing style. Strikers like Ronaldo De Lima for instance was a very assured dribbler as much as he was a goals getter. It is about attributes.

That is the whole point you are deliberately refusing to see and accept.

But it is fine... You didn't even acknowledge Nacho's skill in the video I showed you. You only saw the pass. That says a lot. But again... It's fine. wink

This below is my original post in response directly to Komekn's. Please can anyone show the house where it was pointed out that Nacho is better than Gabby J. cool In fact, maybe my first paragraph wasn't clear enough. Anyone? Merci.

TheSuperNerd:

Now it is true Gabby J is probably faster than Nacho and that he is definitely more technically gifted than Nacho. I have no arguments against those b'cos they are true. Gabby J is definitely more skillful and has even better workrate infact.

But you see the bolded comments.... They are made out of stark ignorance and nonsense ramblings mixed with the dark acidity of your bias towards Homegrown Naija talents.

I am almost tempted to term them the dumbest comments I have read in the past 12 hours on this thread.

Put Gabby J in that Leicester team and he wouldn't even bench Vardy not to talk of scoring sef. Nacho at Man City had the best goals per mins ratio in the whole of Europe at one point in 2016 for the 2015/2016 season (his first professional season). Gabby J haven't managed that feat. So your talk of Gabby J in Leicester is crap and founded on nothing concrete.

Put a defender in front of Nacho and you will always get a backpass or side pass?? Really?? Is this what they are hailing you here for? This fallacious nonsense??

Now, watch this and tell me how many times he passed back when he was faced with a defender in the final third??

Infact go to 1:07 and tell me what you see Komekn... Nacho chickening out on taking on a man or Nacho actually sending that defender/midfielder into oblivion before sending an intelligently weighted pass into Vardy's path... Tell me what you see.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZwX8jsVvfk

Then this below is Nacho in the final third crowded by defenders in front of him... Did he pass back? Did he try to find Vardy or find support with a back pass? Nooooo... Lad took brilliant quick touches and buried the ball in the bloody net.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozJBwgUtPZU

And note this very carefully.... There are times in a game when a backpass or side pass is the best or better option at that time during gameplays. Passing backwards or sidewards have been proven to contribute to dragging an opponent's players out of their defensive shape in order to exploit pockets of spaces and create room for buildup to another attack or to quickly launch attacks against that opponent. It is not rocket science mister!!! Sometimes a back pass or side pass is more useful at some points during a game than a dribble that may lead to nothing.

You keep talking crap here about our Naija lads and your minions roll out the drums offering you drinks and sausages to stroke your ego. These "cocksuckers" of yours are really deceiving you for they know nothing themselves. Infact, I am pretty sure they have no idea what I just explained about the importance of backpasses or sidepasses even as simple as it is.

If anyone in here actually agrees with all (and not some of) what you said in that ill-informed and obviously bias-laden post of yours, then you all have really taken clownishness to the next level.

This is all of you below.... Clowns!!!! grin

Maybe you skipped where some people were saying Iheanacho is better than Gabby and maybe you've made up your mind that komek.n shouldn't be taken seriously because you don't always agree with him even though some of his assertions are questionable because I believe Awaziem was tremendous in the Afcon and was my best player against SA second to chukwueze only
