Three English clubs have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bright Osayi-Samuel after discovering that the Nigerian-born winger has put the brakes on a proposed move to Belgian champions Club Brugge.

Football Insider says the Queens Park Rangers dazzler's transfer to Club Brugge has collapsed amid interest from Leicester City, Brighton & Hove and Fulham.

The Hoops gave the green light to Osayi-Samuel to travel to Belgium to undergo a medical but the Nigerian opted against heading to Bruges.

The 22-year-old is expected to be named in Queens Park Rangers' matchday squad in their final match of the 2019-2020 season at West Brom this evening, and will make a decision on his future at the end of the season.

Osayi-Samuel was left out of Rangers squad against Millwall on Saturday because a transfer to Club Brugge was on the cards.

He won two accolades at QPR's end of season awards; the Kiyan Prince Goal of the Season for his brilliant strike against Birmingham City and Daphne Biggs Supporters' Young Player of the Year award, which he retained having won it last season.
Nonsense!!

He should be headed where he gets to play in Europe where he'd be showcasing his talents to a wider audience, but he wants to remain in his comfort zone.

E no concern me sha, I don't even Rate him.

Maybe you skipped where some people were saying Iheanacho is better than Gabby and maybe you've made up your mind that komek.n shouldn't be taken seriously because you don't always agree with him even though some of his assertions are questionable because I believe Awaziem was tremendous in the Afcon and was my best player against SA second to chukwueze only

Besides that though
No striker literally only passes backwards or sideways when marked so I don't know why it's been taken literally in Nacho's case but more often than not he does passes backwards and sideways compared with Gabby

I don't think anyone in explicit terms attered what you highlighted in bold. What I saw that most people do was state that if Nacho was still at city he'd have better numbers than Jesus, some came with stats to support their stand.

Emmanuel Dennis is close to a move to a foreign club. There have been interests from Premier League clubs and the club has told him he wouldn't feature in their preseason exhibitions.

The club wants the player to be gone before the new season which starts in a few weeks.

Another Super Eagle in Europe's top 5?

Emmanuel Dennis has become increasingly frustrated with his situation at Club Brugge.

Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle and Wolverhampton along with other top clubs in Europe are interested but no club wants to meet Brugge's €20M valuation.

Brugge have axed the player from their squad and even though Dennis said the cup final against Antwerp will be his last game, it is reported that he will not feature.

Dennis is a cult hero at Brugge but the club do not want his attitude to infect the squad. The new Belgian season begins in 16 days.

Where is that goalkeeper called Ejimmadu? We should be unearthing these gems instead of all these arguments, enriching Seun through multiplication of pages of useless verbiage and blended with insults and ending in cul de sac.

Where is that guy that Rennes signed from their youth academy? How far with Amoo?

Before the break: Manure doing well against decent teams, can't beat shit teams.

After the break: Manure kicking around the little guy but have no answer for any of the bigger fish.

I'm not disputing that fact. It is expected considering the calibre of players they are surrounded with.

no one is saying that player A is not better than player B but pulling some unrelated half truth stat to denigrate Player B is what people like Supernerd are complaining about.

you sef look am "Awaziem was a liability at the AFCON. a weak link that was turned in and out" till today no evidence backing up that statement.

"Iheanacho when faced with a defender passes back or sideways" how is that logical or true?

"Osimhen only good enough for championship sides" you expect somebody who said this to always be taken serious?

Even Gabby J hasn't done as well as he was hyped to be. you would think he was the second coming of Ronaldo de lima when he arrived initially. he's good and gets lots of goals but i bet if when you have KDB, D,Silva, Sane Sterling etc playing behind you your sef go dey score anyhow

You are absolutely spot on....

Ejimadu was on the bench on Sunday in the ongoing MLS is Back tourney. He's been mentioned here several times. And I think our U23 coach back then was interested in him.

Take it easy with your assertions man. Can he become a star? very likely. Superstar? That's unknown. Given that his exploits has only been in the farmer's league, grin, you may want to tune down your super-stardom opinion. From what he has done so far, could he give you 20/25 per season? Ofcourse, very likely. But that's not superstardom. We do know the kind of house he'll likely be living in a luxurious and spacious house, but the kind and placement of the ceiling is not determined. Breaking into the superstardom level won't be easy, staying there will be even more difficult. When he get's to the star level then we can talk about his ceiling.

Spot on as regards Nacho!!! Spot on!

And @bolded... Call it whatever you like ladies and gentlemen but I agree with Kelly on this. This is the truth. We all can choose to pretend but truth speaks only truth. Some here love to hide or cover the obvious but some here also love to be bold and say it as it is.

Should things go south for just a few weeks of football in the Serie A, Komekn won't waste time at all. We know that. grin. But bad news is... That thing he is waiting for JUST WON'T HAPPEN. Osimhen is gonna be a f**king Super Star in Italy. Watch and See. Kelly just cool down.... We know the ways of everyone here. No be today e start.

Cheers.

Did You Know That Gabriel Jesus Has The Worst Goal To Big Chance Missed Ratio In The History Of The EPL?

Gesus has missed 58 big chances compared to the 40 goals scored, a massive difference of -18, the biggest difference ever in EPL history. Meaning for every goal scored, there are 3 big chances missed.

He is followed closely by Danny Graham who missed 35 big chances compared to 18 goals for a difference of -17.

Not. My. Striker.

All this long story doesn't change the fact that Nacho is below average at dribbling. I don't know why you're taking this to heart.
Aubamayeng who is a better goal scorer gets criticized for his inconsistent technical ability and poor hold up play but that doesn't change his strong points.
Nacho like every other player has his strong and weak points.
I don't know why pointing out his weak points must be viewed as "hating". Una no dey tire??
Every year, same ish. I purposely stayed out of the debate so I don't get called a hater.

I was sure of his quality years ago, long before he became one of Ligue 1's most outstanding sensations. I remember saying if he stays the course, he will be a bloody fantastic striker of top quality for club and country. TheGoodJoe remembers. We had such a convo.

Fast forward to today, He won Ligue 1 Best newcomer and Best African player in Ligue 1. So brother, I know what I am saying.
But again, I understand the need for some caution. But on this, It's something I saw a long time ago.

Meanwhile on Ligue 1 being a farmers' league. You are lucky there are no Ligue 1 fans in here. Ligue 1 now has a goals impact factor of 2.0 compared to about 4 years ago when it was just 1.5 so there have been marked improvements in quality.

And don't worry, time will prove me right. So wait for time. wink

Onyekuru:

"I have been with players like Keita Balde from my days at the Aspire Academy, Cesc Fabregas is a top guy, who welcomed me when I arrived at the club, it's like going back home,"
"Monaco are a big club they know how to work with their players when it comes to transfers, just look at Anthony Martial.
"I hope to make a good season or two and hopefully the future will be bright."
However Onyekuru also admits that playing well with his club is no guarantee of a call-up to the Super Eagles.
"I don't think the national team is based just on performances at the club, the coach knows his first eleven," he explained.
"He (Gernot Rohr) is the type of coach who doesn't change when everything is going well. I'm there to contribute but hopefully I will get the chance someday."

This post is ffucking childish and incoherent. Osimhen is a Naija bred highly talented young man who has proved himself in the at the U17 , U23 , SE , French league and we the true Naija football followers are very confident he will make it in Italy because he has all the qualities to become the world best. In fact , I wont be surprised if someday Osimhen wins the Ballon dor.

We are not here to sugarcoat and act all jittery just because of some elements here who spoke too soon and are now made to eat the humble pie. But , instead of these set of jokers to sit jejely and eat the danm sweet pie they instead chose to fight a lost battle...hehe
