Mrs Sadiya Umar Farouq, a Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Social Welfare told Nigerians that she spent N600Billion feeding school kids during the lockdown, but it never got any sort of attention or forensic probe yet we gloss over it. Again, the same woman said her ministry had spent N250Billion for palliatives to all Geopolitical Zones in Nigeria yet nobody can claim that they got a dime from such claims. NDDCs can of worms have been opened, MD fainting, Ex MD counter accusing Minister; NNPC is so sacred that no forensic audit can be carried out. In all these, the welfare of the Nigerian youth is never in the equation. Will posterity be fair to us if we keep quiet? Is it our plans for our unborn and little children to pass through this same mess, pain and socio political degradation? Is there a way out? Do we fold our hands and do nothing? The choice before us is to claim Our future is Now, in actions and deeds. Join us as we build a new Nigeria. /nigerianyouthsaretired #ourfutureisnow 2 Likes |
